Having seen his big glitzy productions on TV I had expected something a little larger and flashier. Having said that, the show was very well done: polished without seeming too contrived. He is an incredible performer and there was just enough ad lib to make it feel personal.
The illusions were fun and a couple quite stunning but without the big orchestra drum roll (there is of course background music and lighting) the unveiling sometimes seem to catch the audience just a bit off guard. I clapped enthusiastically just to get the people around be going! Everyone did seem to enjoy it but given you are seated at tables with drinks there is just enough "separation and distraction" for people to not seem 100% focused on what was going.
The interactive acts were a good idea and the use of technology was fun. One lengthier illusion was a tad hokey but David is so adorable he can get away with it.
All in all a good evening at a fairly reasonable cost.

Our expectations were too high The show is slow and he is not a showman The theater had no decorations and the table and chairs are old fashioned and ugly Boring

Loved the David Copperfield show - amazing illusions, great crowd participation, and overall a wonderful experience. David was very energetic and enthusiastic, even though he does the same show multiple times a day, and he involved the whole audience, constantly picking volunteers and performing parts of the acts around people in their seats. We had perfect seats, in the center of the third section, so were really close to the action and didn't need to turn around when he was performing in the audience. David was a great entertainer, it was lots of fun, and it will leave you wondering just how he did it all!

I am not a big spender, so my husband and I got seats towards the back for a decent price last minute. We had no trouble seeing the show. David moves about and there is a lot of audience involvement. The illusions are amazing and my brain still can't stop trying to figure out how he does them. We both enjoyed the show and only wish we could have seen more.

This was my third time gong to a Copperfield show, and you just cant get enough, this guy is unbelivable, the theater at the MGM is really comfortable, we were in the first row of tables but it does not matter David move himself all around in between the tables, if you go to Vegas you must go to see David Copperfield
