“Can't wait to stay here again”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 20, 2013

We stayed here for a week. With all the time we spent in casinos I was glad at night we were able to go back to a smoke free hotel. To get to aria or the bellagio was very easy and convenient but it was a bit of a walk to get to the strip.

On thing that bothered me was that I order kitchenware but when the cleaners came in they took it away even when it had been washed clearly to be used again. The market is pricey for the food it offers

We stayed for a couple of nights in February. The view to the north from our high floor was fantastic! The rooms are spacious and modern.

Tip: Even though there is a small kitchen, if you'd like your room to be equipped with any dishes (e.g. silverware or coffee cups), you will need to ask for them.

My room on the 13th (labled 14th) floor was terrible. The lighting was messed up; you had to use a master switch and then use the other switches. I don't know if something in the circuit was shorting; but, the lighting only worked sometimes. No hair dryer in the bathroom; I made two different requests for a hair dryer without getting one. Each night I could hear the couple in the room above me quite well. Check in and check out is very inefficient and very, very slow. The TV remote didn't even work completely.

Room Tip: Go to a different hotel.

Possibly the most serene, modern room I have stayed in anywhere in the world. I recommend the highest floor you can get, for the views - and I don't like high-rises! Relaxing, quiet, elegant. No casino in the building, no smoking in the building, not much in the way of dining - but Aria is just a short walk across the dedicated sidewalk.

We loved our stay at the Vdara. We had a corner suite with amazing views on three sides: the southern part of the strip, the freeway, and the mountains. You can sit in bed at night or take a shower and be surrounded by the light show that is Vegas. Or you can put the shades down and block out all of the neon signs to get a good night of sleep.

Another plus is that the room had a microwave, full-sized fridge and freezer, as well as a stove top. Very convenient. The cafe downstairs even sells frozen foods, including kosher options.

The only negative thing that I can think of is that they request keycards when you head towards the elevators. I thought this was strange and somewhat pushy, but I guess some would appreciate the extra lev of security.

The hotel is well connected to the Bellagio and the Aria. Tip: if you leave Vdara towards Bellagio, don't take the registration 2 counter corridor when you get to the fork in the Bellagio. By continuing straight, you'll get to the Bellagio lobby much faster!

Expect to do lots of walking and forget walking up from the Strip. The best way to reach the hotel is by going through the Bellagio or Aria, or taking the free tram (also in Bellagio or Aria). The tram connects the Monte Carlo, Aria, Crystals, Vdara, and Bellagio hotels. Trams will save you time if you know which attractions are near to the hotels connected to the tram stations. There is another tram that connects the Mirage and Treasure Island, and another between the Excalibur, Luxor, and Mandalay Bay hotels.

Last tip: Be sure to ask for a late checkout!

Slightly off the beaten path, with easy access to aria and bellagio. Fantastic rooms and room service. Some staff were not as polished as others and dining options are limited, but you are steps away from the best of vegas. The pool at aria is superior...

Very impressed with staff, all staff, rooms were modern but warm and very nicely decorated- the bed and pillows were great!
Loved that it was connected to the Bellagio and close to the tram. Pool area was fantastic. Will stay again!
