I've been to Vegas many times this was the best resort and I will be returning same time next year. The rooms exceeded my expectations and also it was always a nice calm atmosphere at the bar not like the gaming resorts. The staff was very friendly and personable. I will be staying there my next few visits to Las Vegas.

Pros: clean new rooms. Adjacent to Bellagio so well positioned. Comfortable beds. Big windows to look out. Nice bathroom. Nice pool and fitness suite.

Cons: lacks the attention to detail a 5 star should have eg. You have to request a dressing gown, cleaners didn't replace soap in bathroom leaving us without any. Staff not particularly friendly. Small things really but annoying given that you are paying for supposedly 5 star. You pay a resort fee each night and yet there are few resort facilities eg. There is only one cafe in the lobby, no shops etc which would be in some of the other hotels. We thought it would be great that there was no casino but with this also came the lack of eateries/ shops. You can always use the Bellagio shops/ eateries but remember that these are all very high end and may not be what you want all the time.

My conclusion: our stay was good, just not great. Would I stay here again? Probably not. After having looked at my friends suite in the Venetian which is only 4 star and much bigger than ours I sort of felt cheated. However I still enjoyed our stay here just think there may be better options if you want that true 5 star experience.

Firstly - the hotel staff were very friendly and the hotel is nicely appointed, but the overall experience did not measure up. We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom hospitality suites, in which we paid full price since we stayed over the New Year weekend. We arrived and were told the room would be ready by 3pm, however the room was not ready until after 4pm. Once we were in the room, the drain in the shower was clogged and there was a loud "whistling" noise that came from the door to the hallway. We called three times over 7 days to have it repaired but each time the technician was unable to fix it. And no solution was offered by hotel mgmt. Overall, the hotel is nice but there should not be these issues at this price point.

We stayed at Vdara during the Christmas holiday 2012 for 4 nights. We like the location and how easy to get into our rooms without going through the chaos of a casino. The rooms have a kitchen and the living/sitting area is spacious. The housekeepers were great at cleaning up our room and folding our clothes.

One thing that was not quite right through out our stay was the AC. The air conditioner was simply not working so when we were there it was so hot and dry. We couldn't not adjust the temperature at all.

And also they only have valet parking for the hotel so everytime when we needed our car, we would have to wait for a while.

Overall it's a very good hotel and I definitely will recommend it!

Located 1 short block (easy walking) west of the center of the Strip, this hotel is non-smoking, non-gaming, and very quiet. There are 56 floors and the north-view rooms have a nice view of the Bellagio Fountains and connected to the Bellagio via a covered walkway.
Located on a side street called West Harmon, it is right across from the Aria, and a short walk across the South Las Vegas Drive walkway to excellent shopping at the Miracle Mile Shops and Restaurants.

The pool and facilities are quite nice, but you probably won't spend much time there.

The front desk staff are very helpful and immediately ironed out small kinks that did show up in our reservation.
All rooms have a full kitchen, but you have to call housekeeping for dishes and utensils, most likely because some have "gone missing" in the past..
We will definitely return again.

We stayed there from 22nd Dec to 25th. The whole experience was good but the hotel is not really worth for what they charge specially for the extra 25$/day for 2 small bottle of water.

If you go during the winter time take a hotel closer to Strip so you won't get frozen on your way back and forth to the hotel .

Room Tip: Go to Aria or Cosmopoliaine

The staff was extremely friendly. Upon check in, through room service calls, through special requests, the staff provided a blow out service for my New Years experience. In particular, I would like to highlight and commend Aliesha's outstanding customer service on the full round of my visit. Providing such sincere and caring service to the customers of the hotel is the basis of customer service and she exceeded that by far. I will definitely be visiting the Vdara hotel again in future visits to Las Vegas. THANK YOU!
