Great stay at Vdara and great price through priceline. Only wish they had coffee in the room. Also it was great to be in a smoke free environment

I stayed for two (2) weekday nights at Vdara. I booked the room via Hotels.com and found it was in the middle of the pack in terms of value vs. amenities.

I arrived earlier then check-in, but Ashley at the front desk found a room that was ready, and we were able to get settled in the room about an hour earlier then check-in (3pm).

We stayed in the "Vadar Suite" (room 45010) this room was a two room suite that had two 50' (or bigger) T.V.s, one for each the living area, and the sleeping area. The bathroom was massive with both a tub, and a separate shower.

This room had a washer/dryer (very new), a full kitchen setup with a stove and a very advanced microwave/convection oven.

The staff was amazing, always looking out for guests needs. I am a pretty simple guy and don't need much help, but for the guests that needed directions or suggestions for dinner they were always around to help.

We had a corner suite in this hotel for a week facing the strip with the Bellagio fountains and the Eifel tower. There is no casino in the Lobby so its is not so busy there. However the Vdara is directly connected with the Bellagio and other casinos.
The location is nearly perfect. Just a short walk through the Bellagio and you find yourself in the middle of the strip with all attractions in walking distance!
The staff was VERY friendly and we had no problems with anything.
The hotel is very modern, elegant and exquisite...from the Lobby to the suites. The room was without any exception truly sensational!! I can only recommend this hotel to anybody who is looking for a not so busy place located at the strip with high quality service and accommodation.
We stayed here for one week and it felt nearly as being at home.

For the price we payed, we got a very good deal! Go for the Vdara...we will definitely come back when we travel to LV again!

One minus maybe: No breakfast....but the buffets in the Bellagio and the Paris are nearby and truly amazing.

Room Tip: Take a room with view on the strip. It is totally worth the price!!!! We were able to see the Strip...

Me and my wife have been to Vegas 6 times and every time the hotel's have all been great! This hotel is incredible. It's incredibly clean and smells nice all day long. The staff is friendly, rooms are immaculate, and location on the strip is fantastic!

The best part is being able to escape the casino when you go to your room. The hotel has no casino and is a great place to get some shut eye. I would recommend it to couples/families looking for a laid back vacation away from the craziness. The gym and spa here are also fantastic.

The only part of the trip I wasn't crazy about was hailing a cab took forever. But again, that has nothing to do with the hotel. Probably just bad timing. Overall, incredible hotel. Our next trip to Vegas we plan on staying here or Aria.

Room Tip: Higher the better lol

We have just returned to UK after a 3 place holiday in the States and the Vdara was our hotel and by far the best.
Being a very couple of high standards we have to say that Vdara exceeded our expectations.
The whole place is superbly decorated and the room we were in (11010) was beautifully appointed and I have no doubts that all rooms would be of the same standard.
Some reviewers have made a thing about the water pressure we found it more than adequate so don't fret it is okay
The only grip was no tea/coffee making in the room (a quick call to reception will resolve this) but still a bit of a pain
The Strip is only 5 minutes walk through the adjoining Bellagio so not an issue
Cab fare was fm airport $25
Overall a really great base to check out the mad world of Vegas

Room Tip: Ask for a high room if poss

From the moment we walked into this hotel it was like walking into a haven of calm. I love Vegas with all the noise and bustle but it was heaven to come back to our hotel with clean air, no slots and a calm atmosphere. We could relax when we wanted to be away from the crowds in a pleasant well appointed clean room with a wonderful view. The staff were always polite and we would happily stay here again.
The strip is about 5 to 10 mins walk away depending on how fast you walk (I'm quite quick) via a walkway to the Bellagio. If I have one criticism, being a Brit, I like a cup of tea in the morning - the hotel shop could sell me a pint of fresh milk, but the hotel could not supply me with a kettle, only a saucepan and two cups! Of course I managed well enough, but could not understand their logic!! Why do American hotels not supply tea/coffee making facilities automatically as we and many other countries do? In New York we were at least supplied with a coffee machine on request, which was kept very well stocked by the maid if we left a small tip. Hopefully one day the USA will catch up.

My husband and I stayed at the Vdara for our wedding along with some friends, we all absolutely loved it. As soon as you step inside you feel an Oasis of calm away from the vegas strip which is definitely a good thing if you are staying for 10 nights. We were all given Bellagio view rooms and the view was stunning, it certainly delivered on this count. We used the concierge service and couldn't thank Edward and Tiffany enough for their help.

Some people don't seem to like the walk through the Bellagio to get to the strip, this takes 10mins max, and you don't need to walk through the casino, we actually found the walk lovely as it made you feel like you were staying in a mire contemporary part of the Bellagio. 10 min walk may seem long, however we had friends staying at the luxor and it took them longer to get from the entrance to their room. If you want a shorter walk, then you can use the path down the side of the Cosmo, Which takes no more than 5mins, but it is less pretty.

I used the spa for the muscle repair massage, where Jessica gave me the best massage I have ever had (and I have had a few), so good I extended the length of it mid way through. I also had the Hot stone pedicure, which was much needed after walking the vegas strip for days on end, Suzie who did this was superb. Yes the gym is small, but it serves its purpose, most hotel gyms are small, so this wasn't an issue.

The only small niggles were that you can't control the lights from the bed, the switches are in the kitchen, and the location of the plug sockets are not ideal again none beside the bed. However these are only small niggles, and we will definitely stay at the Vdara the next time we are in vegas.

Room Tip: Ask for a High floor with a strip view. We were in room 46028 and had an excellent view of the fount...
