If you want to enjoy the madness of vegas but look for peace and tranquility after a busy day the Vdara is for you. An apartment style hotel with no casino or smoking allowed makes this a unique venue in glitzy Vegas. We hired a car and the valet parking was added bonus. Staff friendly and coffee house had cakes to satisfy the sugar fix ! Having visited all hotels in vegas we would go back to the Vdara without hesitation.

Stayed at the Vdara for 10 nights in late September. The rooms are a great size and up to a good standard of cleanliness. Having stayed in the Encore, I wouldn't class this hotel room as being quite as luxurious, but up to a very high standard. The position of the Vdara is excellent, being only a stones throw from the Aria, and approx 5 mins walk to the Bellagio Casino. What really drew me to this hotel was that it was non smoking, which was something that hit you straight away when you have been visiting other hotels, just seemed to fresh. As far as the staff went, I had absolutely no complaints, the maid would make a point of speaking to us every day on our way and was always smiling / cheery. The things that niggled me (only slightly) were: the fact there was no silverware in the room (you could call for this), no robes in the room (once again a phone call), the steep $25 resort fee daily (plus another $3 tax).

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the bellagio fountains on a high floor.

Attended a conference at the Vdara. It was the best venue we have experienced in Vegas. It was so nice to get to the conference room easily without having to walk through a maze of casinos.

Our room was amazing. There was a separate bedroom with a very spacious bathroom. There was also a spacious living room with a full kitchen and dining table. Our room had a splendid view of the Bellagio fountains. There was also a separate powder room next to the kitchen.

The one negative is the tiny cafe in the lobby area. It is not nearly large enough for this hotel. We were glad that we discovered that breakfast and lunch are served in the lounge by the pool.

We would definitely stay at the Vdara again.

Room Tip: Request a room overlooking the Bellagio fountains.

This hotel was perfect for my family of four. It is a non smoking hotel, located right in the middle of the strip. Check in was quick and the room was excellent. The views from the room were amazing at night. This hotel gives you access to the Bellagio, Aria and Cosmo casino's. It was a short walk to the strip and gave you instant access to either end. The amenities were fine and whilst there is no restaurant the Cafe was good to get something quick. There are restaurants in the casino's and the miracle mile is on the other side of the road. Definately would stay at the Vdara again.

Just back from the most beautiful stay in the Vdara. My family and I stayed in the two story penthouse suite, and all I can say is absolutely stunning! We have stayed in penthouse suites in Mandalay Bay and went for a wedding where the bride and groom stayed in a suite at Bellagio overlooking the fountains. I didn't say anything to them but our suite was nicer :) Never been in suite where the entire wall of the washrooms was windows! An almost 300 degree panorama! Plus room came with a complimentary limo pickup/dropoff at the airport during which we felt like royalty! We had a few problems with our TV's (the remotes were mixed up and one was missing, but it was all fixed hours after we phoned it in. Ordered a wonderful room service. They set up the table for us with placemats, cutlery, flowers, etc.! Even brought a toaster and made our toast right in front of us. Rented a cabana for two days by the pool and had one "busy" day with lots of people around and visiting going on , then booked one at the other end and had a quiet day, with the plunge pool all to ourselves (M to P) cabanas. Hotel was a pleasant mix of young and old. I was actually surprised how the guest skewered to the younger side, but it was a very pleasant crowd (I did not see any rowdies, or hear any lanquage around our children for the entire stay). We stayed over the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend and the cabana guy said occupancy was at 95% but our room was always cleaned promptly and our room service was timely. Concierage was crazy busy, but just picked up phone and booked supper and shows ourselves. Quick walk to the strip and the Bellagio and Aria hotels. Hotel was generous with lots of bottles of water and coffee for the coffee maker. We really, really, enjoyed the Vdara and would definately stay there again. I still can't get over that room..... I never even mentioned that we could see the Bellagio fountains from it! Room 56001 by the way.... First class stay.

Room Tip: Only thing with the 2 story penthouse is that the master bedroom is open to the living area via the...

This was our first time @ Vdara. The room itself is quite nicely laid out but when we first came in there was some schmutz on the bathroom wall that was not very pretty. The next day, housekeeping cleaned our room but left our door open. Not pleased. We often need to do some work when we're away but the WIFI was very slow and painful. We also found the pool quite small (and shallow) for a hotel the size of Vdara. We enjoy lots of walking and it would seem that to get to the strip it should be a straight walk down West Harmon. Not a chance! The sidewalks are blocked on both sides. We ended up walking down some stairs and then through the Cosmopolitan. On the day of departure, I requested a 1 pm checkout instead of noon. The front desk was very accomodating and gave us the extra hour. Upon returning to our room @ 12:30 to pack, we were locked out of our room and had to get our keys re-coded. PITA! On checkout we were given a 10% discount for our troubles which helped but I can't recommend this hotel.
