We had a great experience staying here starting with the beautiful scent in the lobby area. Yuri checked us in. She was very friendly and even surprised us with a cake in the room for my mom’s birthday! The next day when we checked out she still remembered us and asked how the birthday was! It’s nice to know they care. Hotel is very local to all attractions. When you come back to the hotel you can leave the noise of the strip behind and just relax. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Unfortunately the disappointing reviews didn’t deter me from giving the Waldorf a chance. They were right and my stay was disappointing as well.

I booked a strip view suite for a couples weekend, prepaid well in advance. I arrived and was given a ‘suite’ on the 5th floor - room 501. I saw more parking garage than strip (see photo). Strike one. When we arrived someone from their staff was in the room, and they said they were making sure the TV was working. It looked more like they were taking a break and watching the Golden Knights game, but whatever, not a huge deal, I just wanted to get on with my evening.

I went upstairs and asked for the room to be changed. Three people then proceeded to tell me three different things about what rooms were and were not available. They told me they could get me to the 6th floor but as you can see from the photo it would make no difference. I told them they shouldn’t be advertising this as a strip view room. The fact that I booked far in advance, that I was a Hilton gold member, none of that made a difference. They asked me expectantly what I wanted them to do and I just said it’s their job to get this right, not mine. Their manager was out at this point - Dante - and said he’d look into how they can make it better. I said thanks, please do, because while it’s not the end of the world this seems to be a pretty silly oversight. Never heard from him after that. Strike two.

Second room the following night was on the 20th floor and was an actual strip view - room 2001. Had my privacy sign on so they didn’t turn down the bed for me and texted me to ask if I wanted it done. I said yes come at 8pm. That was also not done. Strike three.

The room had a great view but I don’t think they’d done anything in terms of upgrades. There was a creaking wood sound for some reason, maybe the high winds this weekend. Calcium deposits on the shower walls made this strike 4.

They initially offered me an upgrade to the penthouse suite for $700 and nothing else. I politely said no, because I’m not going to pay even more to fix their mistake. Not going to be a customer and pay anything else after this trip either.

Quiet, unassuming, luxurious -- non smoking, non gaming - a true oasis in Sin City. Our room was the quietest room we've ever had in Las Vegas -- quite a feat in this town, large, luxurious, with nightly turndown service, and a great view. The Sky Bar is a great place to unwind and enjoy the view, with craft cocktails, and no tank top wearing beer drinkers around. It sits in a great location, that gives you easy access to the strip. The staff was excellent - from the bell man, to the front desk, to housekeeping and room service staff -- all went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Don't go there if you're looking for a rowdy party crowd, go there if you want to party elsewhere and come back to the hotel to relax.

The bedroom product is excellent - certainly among the top three in Vegas. The location is also spot on. The concierge team are among the best you will find anywhere - nothing is too much trouble - highly recommend them. The Bar has great views and I liked the vibe, but is starting to look dated. We loved the pool area on the 8th floor, and the team working it really are superb young people with care and personality. However it is terribly shabby, dirty and in desperate need of money spent on it - such a shame and extremely foolish of the owners (Hilton - sort them out!). All in all - I would return due to the bedroom product, but not much else to really draw me back (apart from the people working there.).

Me and my partner stayed from the 18th to 25th of September. The hotel was bright and clean throughout our stay, with a wonderful aroma through the hotel. Met Pepper, a fun addition to reception. Our room was spacious and offered everything needed. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The hotel upgraded our room to strip view as birthday treat and added greeting card and treat. We had no problems apart from request for cups, which hadn't been replaced after room clean. In end I visited coffee shop on level 3 to get some! This is other area where Waldoff lets it's self down 2 coffee bags a day in complementary drinks. The coffee is excellent, just more needed. On the whole a very pleasant stay with just minor niggles. Under used the hotel really as complementary car, pool and gym all available.
