From the second you enter the driveway of The Mandarin Oriental, you are transported to a whole new place. It is on The Strip, but you will feel like you are in a Mandarin oasis. The beds are almost as comfortable as my beds at home (maybe even better). The service is impeccable and the bar is awesome! If you order champagne, freshly cut berries are served. If you are looking for a wild hotel, this is definitely NOT your place. If you are looking for a place to take a break from the wild activities from the night before or if you like a peaceful and private place to be, this is definitely the place to stay!

Spent three nights over New Year's 2014 at the Mandarin. Luxurious, well-appointed rooms ... doting staff ... no casino on property ... double-paned windows muffling the noise from the Strip ... it was truly an oasis in the frenzy that is Las Vegas. Don't get me wrong -- we went to Vegas specifically to participate in that frenzy (especially on New Year's Eve) -- but at the times of our choosing. When we tired of the partying and dancing and gambling, we retreated to the Mandarin for some well-earned down time. Hotel staff was wonderful: Concierge got us into a hot dance club gratis one night, and the manager took care of an isolated breakfast problem with complimentary drinks and appetizers that same night in the hotel's 23rd floor Mandarin Bar. Afternoon tea (with Champagne) was outstanding. All in all, a wonderful way to enjoy Las Vegas.

I stayed at the mandarin oriental for about 4 days when I first moved to Vegas and I was looking for a place to love. It was amazing I took a video of my room. room service was spectacular, the spa was great. I got the Jade massage and facial. Would most certainly return for extended stay.

My only complaint it that there is a karaoke bar downstairs and you could heard everything from the room I was id. So sleeping was difficult sometimes due to the music. Also my stay was in DEC 2012 but the website wont allow me to put in that date.

This hotel should be 8 stars. I stay here for my best friend bachelorette and yes, we had the time of our life. The hotel was perfect, room were clean and the pool area was awsome. But the perfect part was the attention we received from the staff specially front desk.

I never look forward to vacationing in Vegas, because the city itself is so polluted, crowded, and grimy, but staying at the Mandarin made my trip so much more bearable this time around. The hotel's entrance was a sight for sore eyes; the refined combination of bamboo plants, glass walls, and chrome fixtures in the entrance posed a comforting contrast to the hectic, neon lights of the strip. Though the rooms were smaller than I'd hoped, but that is the only negative thing I could say about my stay. The service was fantastic -- every member of the staff we interacted with was highly attentive, and reacted to our requests with the utmost sense of urgency. In all my travels, I have never seen a hotel gym provide its guests with headphones! It's a small touch, but definitely a thoughtful one.

To sum it up, everything I dislike about Vegas, as a travel destination, was negated by my stay at the Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas.

What else needs to be said, it's a Mandarin in one of the most luxurious cities in the U.S. I've stayed at this hotel a few times and there's a reason to keep coming back. I am such a HUGE fan of the brand and a bigger fan of this property.

The location is at the beginning of the strip (the new cool part...not the chapel area). The area is for the truly well appointed traveler and luxe lifestyle. The best mall in town Crystals is less than a 5 minute walk and is home to the best shopping, bars, lounges and restaurants.

The lobby is on a higher level with condos on the lower floors. The registration desk area and resturants are all located on the top floors. The hotel is SMOKE-FREE free of a casino and noise.

Of course, the spa is one of the main attractions. Soon as you hit the floor your senses are greeted with aroma therapy and dim lighting.

The staff has always been exceptional, always very pleasant and accommodating.

The room is state of the art with all the luxuries a frequent business and leisure traveler will need. Most rooms (if not all of them) have a valet closet ------ when you call for a service, you don't have to be disturb - housekeeping can leave the item in the valet closet. The closet has a keyed door open in the hallway for staff and a door in your room. Talk about convenience

You will not be disappointed.

This hotel was perfect. The most comfortable bed, a large soaking tub, friendly staff, a great pool area, fitness area and spa. The Mozen restaurant was superb. Everything was clean; the air smelled like flowers and was filled with the soft sounds of relaxing music. Just perfect.
