“A true desert Oasis!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 5, 2013

Our recent stay here was simply phenomenal. I've always been a big Four Seasons fan but decided to give the Mandarin a try honestly because of the stay 2 nights, get the third night free promotion. Upon our arrival at 4pm our room needed a few more minutes to pass managerial inspection. Our front desk clerk, Max was super nice and insisted we have a drink on them down at the pool. When we arrived at the pool the hostess already knew who we were and about our drinks on the house - Not 10 minutes later Max himself came down to the pool to give us our room key. The concierge Debbie went out of her way to get us just the right combination of dinner and show reservations to make for stress free getting to and from each event. The doorman was also very nice and got to know our names and preferences immediately making us feel like we were coming home each time we returned to the hotel either by foot or cab. We were celebrating my husband's 50th birthday and everyone always knew to wish him a happy birthday. Don't know if that had anything to do with the 2 separate deliveries of complimentary bottles of champagne on ice! This hotel does not have a casino or the smoking guests. We loved the peace and quiet of the hotel. Literally steps from the door is all the commotion, noise, excitement and every kind of entertainment imaginable. It was a perfect balance of fun and recharging for us. Perhaps my favorite aspect of the hotel was the technology in the rooms. The remote for the flat screen gave you the ability to easily control all the lighting options, tv options, mood sound options, electric curtain options, wake up and sleep timer preferences. Waking to the soft sound of ocean waves with the tv showing beautiful sunrises and the blackout curtains opening silently and automatically was the perfect way to start the day! Also have to give a shout out to Kristy our breakfast waitstaff. She was so warm and helpful. We plan to stay again very soon. LOVED IT!!!

Room Tip: It was well worth getting a view of the strip!

Popped into the bar for a few drinks and managed to get a table beside the window. Excellent wine list, great friendly, helpful staff, so we stayed and ate some tapas, delicious! A really lovely start to our final night in Vegas. Will definitely come here again.

great hotel. great location. great staff. great service. great amenities. only good things to say about this fabulous hotel. they were thinking about all. into the room there is.... subwoofer, exercise mat (uau...), scale..... think it, you have it. there is a lot of tech into the room and this is indeed very helpful.

beautiful rooms, a priceless location and very friendly staff made our stay absolutley outstanding. We had a great time and would come back in a heartbeat the next time we're in Las Vegas! I recommend getting the 3 day special in a suite, you'll get the 3rd day for free which will be only a bit more expensive than paying 3 days in a room.

Perfect Hotel at perfect location. Nice hotel in the middle of the strip without casino. For Casino you have to across the street to Aria or other hotels.
Breakfast in the hotel was nice. but not cheap. Spa service was excellent

Absolutely faultless, I just can't find fault with this hotel - and if you read my other reviews you will know that this statement doesn't come lightly. If you're looking for Vegas "fun" then this isn't the hotel for you, there are plenty of them. This hotel is about discretion, calmness and pure luxury. The hotel is fairly centrally located on the strip, adjacent to the Cosmopolitan and upon arrival you will be greeted by very gracious bell boys and swiftly whisked up to the 23rd floor for reception. The reception lobby is airy, yet with the hint of oriental mystery. Behind the desk are floor to ceiling windows that beam the full glitz of the strip. My room was located on the 19th floor, which was a trip down the "guest" elevators. I had a room facing New York New York. Not the greatest view, but ok. The room itself was fabulous, lovely soft bed, big bath, separate shower, double sink. Everything was electronic and controlled via either a panel on the bedside table or on the TV.

A colleague and I had drinks on the Saturday evening in the bar. Great drinks, great service and we had some nice bar snacks. Unlike all the oxygen pumped bars of the casinos (haven't I mentioned there is no casino?) the bar is relaxed and not full of stag dos, so if you're after remaking the Hangover (great film, 1 not 2) then this is not for you.

One last point regarding the service. On the Saturday morning I had a call from "Josh" at the bell desk, because I stay in the MO in Hong Kong they had tried to replicate my morning papers. This was proving difficult as one of their papers hadn't arrived, he insisted it would be with me shortly. Several hours he called again to explain that they'd tried nearly every hotel on the strip and had finally located one with the paper and they would deliver it shortly and as an apology would I like a coffee with cookies. I kindly accepted and i'm glad I did, the cookies were warm and gooey in the middle.

My only irritation, which was minor, was having to go up and over to the second elevator to get out. Don't do that, take the lift to the third floor and walk to the next lift as it saves going up to go down.

I'll stay here again!

Room Tip: Ask for one with a view of the Cosmo.
