Great service and deluxe rooms! I like the full room automation features. I can set the curtains to open, turn on the TV ( turn on the sunrise channel or any other channel) and turn on the air-con all at a specific time.

Really comfy beds too! Walk-in shower with great water pressure.

If you want a first rate hotel with all the ammenities and not have to hear the clanking of casino machines, then The Mandarin Oriental is the one for you. From the moment you enter the parking area and the valet takes your car, until you check in and are escorted to your gorgeous room, you are treated like royally. The bedding is plush and modern, the room has all the ammenities, including shoe shine service and a newspaper daily that the attendants take from outside the room and don't have to enter. There is a trap door which they use to enter and exit from the hallway. The restaurant in the hotel is wonderful as is the staff and management. We were only there for 2 evenings but felt like we had a real vacation and will return whenever we are in Vegas. It is on the strip and near wonderful shopping, sightseeing and our view of the strip from our hotel room was absolutely breathtaking. We have stayed at the Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok and in New York City, and this hotel is equally first class and beyond description.

Room Tip: Take a high floor with a view of the strip for total R&R and glamour.

Every hotel has issues and the Mandarin was no exception. It is how management deals with the issues that makes a difference. At the Mandarin they took care of our issues in a heartbeat. The room is too dry? they surprised us with a humidifier set up and running in our room. Need more towels? open the valet closet 5 minutes later and there we could find them. We slept late and so left the room at 4pm and notified housekeeping to clean our room. Five minutes later the cleaning staff was already at the door when we were leaving. The spa, while not cheap, was extraordinary. The pool very relaxing and the staff is always there to help. Pretty much anything we thought we could need was already there for us. Need a charger for the phone? we found it inside the tech box. Reading lights by the bed? There they were. I loved the bathroom, the lighted mirror, the disgused TV screen in one of the mirrors, bath salts waiting for you next to the tub. I loved how they will do a second round of cleaning before night time and added some fancy touches like the soft lighting, the flowers, etc. It's hard to describe how much attention to detail they have put in making guests feel welcome , feel in dreamland. If you're booking a hotel in Las Vegas don't think twice this is the best option at an affordable rate. The best part is: no loud and smoke-loaded casinos in the lobby! Instead this place is private, tranquil and peaceful.

Room Tip: services inside the hotel are costly, the concierge is always helpful at finding you good restaurants and services within walking distance at your budget. Unless you are traveling away from the strip I suggest you do not take taxis.

Stayed here for 2 nights after 4 nights at the Wynn, as wanted someone to relax away from the casinos... this hotel is incredible and one of the best I've ever stayed in.

Peaceful, relaxing and refined. The rooms, pool and staff were great, as was the Mandarin Bar (perfect place to go just before sunset).

I got a great deal on this place and I've realised since that this seems to be the cheapest Mandarin Oriental hotel as many other cities are 4-5 times the price!
