“A French touch in Vegas”
Reviewed September 30, 2013

LOCATION
The Paris Hotel is well located in the heart of the Vegas strip opposite the Bellagio hotel

THE ROOM
We had the red room with a perfect view on the Eiffel tower and the Bellagio fountains. The room was clean with no particular amenities.
Consider a $20 hotel fee per room and per day which allows you to use the internet from only one device.

THE CASINO
Compare to other hotels such as the MGM or the Bellagio, The Paris casino is quite small. During the week, one can find poker tables starting at $5 min, $10 black jack, $10 roulette. Slot machines are old

THE STAFF
The staff was good and very helpful.

THE BUFFET
Our dining experience at the buffet was fantastic. We could appreciate some French Specialties and the setting was really nice.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a strip view

The hotel plays to the expectations of what an untraveled person may imagine Paris is all about. The Eiffel tower, the narrow winding streets with 3 level Parisian style buildings lining the cobble stone road is what you will find here. At first glance the French experience is amazing, but after a few minutes it becomes more obvious that the hotel that opened in 1999, shows need of a major refurbishing effort. The paint in peeling the there are major dust bunnies clinging to the faux vegetation and the rooms are awkward and sparse.

Our checking-in process was painless and quick, the service offered by the staff was 5star quality but once we arrived to the hotel room we began to wonder why we chose this hotel. There was major stains of what looked like tobacco spit on the ceiling above the closet/bureau in the center of the far wall across from the bed. There was no water in the room and the minibar was empty. In addition, there were yellow stains on the underside of the toilet. We called room service and mentioned the issues. They gave us some story about the cost of the minibar and how the patrons weren't paying for the consumables, and that caused a change in the room policy. The same story was used for the lack of bottled water in the room. As for the stains on the ceiling, they offered to clean the ceiling but no other compensation was offered. We washed and wiped the toilet seat clean before housekeeping could get to us.

Later, after an unrelated event caused a sour taste in our mouth we were offered an upgrade to a suite, which we took on the 25th floor. The room was much more clean than the previous one but the shower head is the kind I've seen featured in low rent apartments. The ceiling above the shower head was pealing and cracked from age and water exposure.

I would not stay here again until a major renovation has been completed.

Room Tip: Choose a room above level 20 to avoid the noise from the street and ask for one with a view of the V...

The Paris hotel is the most perfect hotel in every way. Perfect location. Perfect size. Perfect food. Perfect customer service. Perfect rooms. I can go on and on. I just returned from this hotel last night and want people to know how perfect this hotel really is. The beautiful architecture make you feel you are on a French Riviera vacation. Everything was perfect. Merci Paris I will be back soon.

The Paris is right in the middle of the strip so a very good base to see Vegas. It is (obviously) Paris themed and is done very well - quite a disorientating feeling when you first go in as its always late afternoon /evening inside no matter the time.

Generall all these vegas hotels seem pretty alike - hugemoungous and catering for all tastes. Food and drink seemed expensive in relation to room price (which was very good value) but this was the same in all the vegas hotels we visited.

We also stayed at the venetian which is very similar but Venice themed - the paris rooms were rather basic and tired compared to the venetian, so if it was a choice between the two go for the Venetian.

Loved Paris Hotel, location was perfect, close to everything and interconnecting with Bally's.
The rooms are of a very good size, plenty of space and a very large bathroom.
Rooms were clean and tidy and presented well.
There is a desk near reception checkin that can organise your activities, quickly and efficiently. Bedding was comfortable.
We had a breakfast package with our rooms for very minimal cost, however, never bothered using it as it was limited to 2 cafe style restaurants which did not interest us, however the minimal cost meant we didn't really lose much money, so not a concern.
It can be extremely busy at checkin and checkout, so take advantage when checking out by using the automated system.
The adjoining casino is great, you have no idea of time.
All in all, enjoyed Paris and would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Request a higher level room, but it will depend on when you check in, if checking in late on a Satur...

Stayed here for 1 night (Thursday). Hotel location is excellent relative to the attactions along the strip especially the Belagio fountains. Rooms are average. Old AC system is quite noisy. Can't say much to delight. The room look old.
Staff were helpful and they allowed us for late checkout.

We've stayed at Paris several times and always enjoyed our experience there. This time....not so much. We payed extra ($40) to upgrade to a "Red Room" with a "partial" strip view. Warning: DON'T DO IT. We booked 5 nights there because we were attending a conference and wanted an extra day to enjoy Vegas. After three nights, we requested a room move. Paris has a nightclub called The Chateau. It is partly indoors and party outdoors - right in front of the hotel under the rooms that face the strip. The club goes until 4:00 a.m. at full blast, pounding music, yelling, screaming people. Ugh. After we moved, we didn't hear the noise from the club....until Thursday night when the Cosmopolitan hotel across the street (what - 1/4 mile from where our room is?) had a concert on their pool deck which faces the Strip. It was almost louder than the noise from the Chateau! I guess the Paris is a great hotel for young people who want to party all night, but not for us.

In addition, the upgrade of $40 was not worth it. Our rooms, while decorated in red, were comfortable; but the furniture is old and was all dented, scratched up and damaged. Our bathroom appeared to have mold on the floor near the shower, and the inside of the tub had been chipped and the chip area was so discolored it looked like blood. EWWW. Needless to say, we didn't use the tub. Plus, for an upgraded room in a nice hotel like Paris, we had worn out old towels in the bathroom which was also disappointing. If we return, we definitely will not be staying there again.
