Four Points by Sheraton Las Vegas East Flamingo
Ranked #134 of 264 Hotels in Las Vegas
Reviewed December 11, 2012

This place is now renamed Baymont Inn.
- This place is way out of the way of everything in Las Vegas, except Terrible's casino!
- The shuttle drivers were nice, but you had to beg for a ride to the strip. They were always busy going back/forth to the airport. You had to wait in the lobby for up to an hour for the shuttle to be available. They will never pick you up at the strip and return you to the hotel.
- The area is unsafe at night. We were warned by locals not to venture out.
- The Corona Grill was open only for a meager breakfast. No bar, no cafe, no room service, no coffee shop.
- The daily resort fee is a joke. This is not a resort.
- Grate outside the hotel on the street that made a horrible sound every time a car drove over it.
This place is just kinda sad and dismal. Not recommended at all.

This is the most modern hotel we've been to within our budget in the States and we really enjoyed our stay apart from a few minor things. Probably would give 3.5 stars if I could but rounded up because its the best place we stayed in during 3 weeks in the States. This hotel was perfect for us because we were only here to see the Gand Canyon not to party.

Pros:
Room was clean and spacious
Bed was comfortable and king size
Large bathroom
Shower not over bathtub which we like
Shower curtain didn't stick to you!!!
Big tv
Hotel had a nice modern feel to it
'Free' shuttle

Cons:
Neighborhood wasn't very safe and no close by supermarkets
Across the road from a fire station so sirens quite often
The hotel has changed names again so no one has heard of it
Our towels were taken and not replaced with clean ones, we had to call reception to get more
Free breakfast stopped at 9am and then you had to order from the menu which we thought was a bit early, especially on a Sunday!
Because of the chnage of hands the restaurant/room service was only for breakfast no other meals
Charged a resort fee just for shuttle, wifi and pool and fitness

Recommended if you're not here for the party scene

Considering nobody had heard of this hotel and it didn't look great from the outside, we weren't expecting much when we arrived. We were pleasantly surprised though and ended up really enjoying ur stay. The reception staff are friendly and helpful and while the restaurant is only doing real fast at the moment, there is plenty of food options around. The room we stayed in looks like its been recently refurbished, it was very clean and modern looking and everything was working fine. Our only complaint was the sirens across the road, but that's not really the fault of the hotel. I would recommend staying here if you enjoy comfortable rooms and friendly staff!

Good rate. But do not feel quite safe at the area. It is better to check in before dark and inform the hotel ahead if late arrival. Be aware the location is pretty dark. The room is clean and comfy but the air conditioner was too noisy when working. When it automatically paused at certain temperature, the room became stuffy.

DO not stay here, the place is clean service is decent and even the food is good in the breakfast area, However we stayed here on a trip and when we came back home, a day later someone tried to use my credit card for 500 dollars, and this was the only place i used my card- coincidence?

Had a Groupon for 2 nights, which made this stay very reasonable. Even included breakfast. Our room was located above the pool and faced Flamingo, which is a terrible location with the fire station across the street. Heard sirens most of the night. Room was clean, but there was a lingering deodorizing scent. They offer free shuttle service to the strip and the drivers were very friendly. Parking is underground, but the security gate was never down, so can't really say there is secure parking.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that doesn't face Flamingo.

A nice little hotel tucked away from traffic and crowd. If you are looking for good value for the $, a clean, quiet and safe place with a Pool and Exercise room, I would recommend this. The only draw back is: no free breakfast.
