Description: Guests are transported from the City of Sin to the Pacific Rim inside TAO Asian Bistro, a 44,000 square-foot, multi-story “Asian City” housing a restaurant, banquet facilities, lounge and nightclub. Lush velvets and silks, waterfalls and century-old woods and stones accentuate the experience, and the restaurant’s signature 20-foot Buddha watches over every corner of the restaurant while floating peacefully above an infinity pool complete with Japanese koi. Corporate Executive Chef Ralph Scamardella has developed a menu for the 400-seat restaurant by incorporating culinary components from China, Japan and Thailand. Signature dishes include offerings from sea, sky and land including Chilean Sea Bass Satay with Wok Roasted Asparagus, a preparation of Peking Duck that consistently receives accolades, and Kobe Beef Shabu Shabu along with a full sushi bar.

“Good food.”

I would go back to eat here. Crispy orange chicken and fried rice dished were amazing. Waitress was quite pushy to get us to order more than necessary. Turns into a nightclub after with girls lying in baths at the entrance!

“Amazing Experience and Food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 5, 2013

I came here with a large group of people from my work and the food was incredible! The coconut shrimp were to die for and the dish I ordered, Roasted Tai Buddha Chicken, was sooo perfect the chicken literally melted in your mouth. Out of the 8+ dishes we had to share there was not a bad one.

The venue alone was worth checking out. Go there! You will not be disappointed!

The food was VERY average, in my opinion. I actually think P F Chang's has better orange chicken. The tables are CRAMMED together, so be prepared to practically eat with your new best friends. Service was fine. The restrooms are tricky (hard to distinguish between Men and Women. A male diner and I both stood there starring at the doors. It was funny. Also, the restrooms have attendants and they are open to each other. In other words, you can stick you hand under the mirror area and into the men's restroom when you are in the women's restroom (not that you would want to.) Glad I tried their place, but next time I'll try something else. Apparently this restaurant and club upstairs is requested by the stars. Who knows? Maybe you will get to try to figure out the restrooms with someone famous! ha ha

“Something else!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2013

The most amazing thing about TAO is the beach ON TOP OF THE ROOF! Its just something else! Pair that with fantastic Asian dishes and the biggest selection of sushi I've seen & the heaving nightclub its a match made in heaven! Will be going back this year!

The BEST food with relaxing, beautiful atmosphere and a fantastic wine list. Venetian was definitely my favorite spot in Vegas!
