“Worth a visit, at night especially”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 20, 2013 via mobile

This was my first trip to Vegas at a hot time of year. During the day, it was a bit scorching to walk the strip. However, you could use that time to visit the different casinos. I am not a gambler, but these places do have a wow factor, to be sure. At night, the place lights up and gets busier with pedestrian traffic, but this is when the Strip really comes alive. It is really impressive. If you are prepared to stroll along and take it all in, it is a unique experience. Don't go if you don't like crowds or if you are in a hurry. I was a bit surprised at the number of homeless people there. However, I did not find them to be aggressive or rude in any way.

“Who doesn't love the Lights!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 18, 2013

We have been here several times, and always love the lights! Daytime is always nice to stroll the strip and take in the sights, but you better have some good walking shoes! The Strip is long both ways, and of course you can take the tram for $6.00 one way or $12.00 for 24 hours, but if you really want to experience the Strip then you need to walk it. There are a lot of walk-overs and escalators to help you out for crossing the street, if you go in the summer make sure you drink plenty of water. We have found the best time is very early summer and early fall, it's not so sweltering hot. You are going to run into pan-handlers on almost every block, but if you just don't acknowledge them you can walk on by with ease. Make sure you take in the volcano at the Mirage, the water show at the Bellagio and the pirate show at Treasure Island. After you have worn yourself out walking all day and evening, take the tram, it's cheaper and faster than a taxi or the bus, and it's not as crowded. Make sure you go down to the old town area on Freemont Street, they have free concerts through-out the summer and good ones at that!

“The Lights at Night”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2013

The best time to enjoy The Strip is at night when the lights and outdoor shows can really be seen. The crowds can get big and Las Vegas Blvd. full of traffic. Still you have to experience it. The distances between some of the resorts is larger than it may initially seem. The downside is the people pushing girlie cards at you (just push by them).

“My Findings on the Strip-by location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 16, 2013

I am really excited to share our latest trip to Las Vegas, I spent alot of time researching and wanted to share, so here I go! First...let me say...get the Power Pass/Visiticket www.visiticket.com/LasVegas, this will give you some great discounts for attractions. We bought the two day pass, and had plenty of time to do what we wanted, you will have to plan and keep moving to see the things you want. We traveled with our 17 y/o daughter therefore were in search of things that would be attractive to her as well.
Additionally, let me say, we rented a car...It was wonderful, we Valet Parked and tipped $ a buck or two, you can addtionally self park conveniently in most places. We booked the car on Hotwire.com $11.95 daily. It was flawless and one of the more brilliant things to do.

“Dazzled! ”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 14, 2013 via mobile

Lots of lights and street shows. Everyday was a new experience walking down the street. We were able to see a few different shows- Bellagio water fountains, Pirate shows, Fashion shows-accidently by being in the right place at the right time. If ever in Vegas, do take a walk during the day and after the sun sets.... You will be astonished by the change...
