“Not the worst hotel but will charge u $75 to check out early”
Reviewed March 26, 2013 via mobile

I have stayed here many times over the last 8 years. The hotel is starting to show it's age. It is definitely better than the other Hilton hotels on the strip but the Marriot next door is much nicer. So in short ok but there are a lot nicer hotels close by. The breakfast also sucks compared to other Hilton's and similar hotels

I hate staying on the strip and have stayed at this property over the last 10 years on and off for business. I've found it to be a good hotel but now it's showing its age and being run like most Embassy's, which is average at best. The room decor is definitely dated and run down. I couldn't get the air conditioner to go below the 65 degree setting, which was cool-ish air at best. The manager's reception used to serve top shelf liquor but now serves the cheap stuff. There were a bunch of kid's on sports teams running wild and banging doors, with no one from the hotel doing anything about it from what I could see. I could hear the phone ring in the next room like it was next to me. Breakfast is typical Embassy. It wlas good while it lasted I guess.

Room Tip: Ask if there will be a bunch of kids in the hotel the dates you want to book.

Las Vegas Hotel prices are all over the map depending on what's going on in town. So, value is hard to pin down on a room that can range fro $69 to over $200 on any given night. My focus is on the business friendly features.

1. WiFi will be free is you are a member of Hilton Honors and available for a fee if not.
2. Well equipped exercise room. Three Precor Treadmills w/TV, Free weights, etc
3. Great breakfast included.
4. Adequate reasonably priced dinner cafe.
5. Manager's reception with complementary drinks, chips & veggies.
6. Free Parking
7. My large room had the usual dim lighting, but a great work area. Room to spread out a laptop, printer, mini scanner and paperwork. Best I've come across in years.
8. Gift shop for munchies
9. Free WSJ and USA Today
10. Friendly and cheerful staff.

We stay at Hilton chain hotels frequently and at Embassy Suites when we can. We are diamond members but were not afforded an upgrade here (told us they were sold out...didn't look that way to us, however). Otherwise staff was pleasant and helpful. This particular hotel was only a 10 minute walk from the convention center where we were attending a recent conference. It had no casino, which for some may be a drawback, but for us, it was a godsend! A nice place to relax away from all the Vegas hustle and bustle. The atrium here is very sparsely decorated, not at all like the lush foliage decor/fountains at most other Embassy Suites. Our suite was comfortable but nothing special. It was a bit on the small side and contained two beds instead of the king we usually get. Although clean, room appeared somewhat threadbare...not much by way of decorative touches. The bathroom was also clean and the shower had a sliding door instead of a curtain which made it a little difficult to get in and out. But nothing we couldn't handle. We were concerned about being on the 5th floor right by the elevator and overlooking the area in which they put on the evening managers reception. But even with the large crowd enjoying the free drinks and snacks (chips & salsa, pretzel mix and veggies), noise was not a problem. The breakfast was very good but lacked some of the variety offered in other Embassy Suites (no croissants or waffles). And they were having difficulties keeping the breakfast area stocked with some items like bread, yogurt, pastries and fruit. The omelets were quite good and the cooks did an outstanding job keeping the line moving along! The breakfast space also doubled as the Fountain Grill restaurant for lunch and dinner (they put tablecothes on a few tables and called it a restaurant....but the food and service were pretty good, actually). Hotel is a 10 minute walk to the Convention Center monorail stop. For $12 (for a 24 hr period) you can enjoy unlimited rides on the monorail which runs from the Riviera to the north all the way to MGM Grand to the south. Pretty easy access to the strip and all the hotels along the way! The hotel also offers a shuttle to the Fashion Show mall (near Treasure Island) and will take you to the convention center also. Now if they will just initiate a shuttle to the airport (3 miles away), this would be perfect!! We asked for, and were given, a 2 o'clock check out since we had a 5:30 flight. An interesting footnote (pun intended): not sure if it was the hotel carpets or just the streets of Las Vegas but the bottoms of my shoes (both sneakers and Crocs) turned completely black on this trip!! Never had this happen anywhere else before!! Enjoyed our stay and would stay here again when in Vegas.

Excellent stay, room, open bar for an hour every night, free breakfast buffet every morning ...... what more can you ask for ? ...... Possibly a win at the casino;s would have been nice

Elevators were fast (which means alot) ... coffee pot in the room (means a lot) ... free internet with the pass code that the front desk graciously gave me every day ..... covenient location and shuttle services .... staff was very helpful at all times

Room Tip: Was rarely in the room, but some do have balconies (wy you would want to use it I do not know)

I recently had only a short amount of time to book a business meeting for 110 people, so could not visit the site---not my comfort zone. I wanted a place off the strip without a casino so as to not distract our meeting attendees during breaks and found this hotel online. Obviously I also wanting perfect meeting facilities with 5 breakout rooms and excellent food. The Embassy Suites more than delivered. Tammy Miller, and all the staff at Embassy Suites, were the best and they came through 100% with every promise. All of our food, set-up and AV needs were met without a hitch. The staff was outstanding from the first person I met at the front door to Tammy herself who orchestrated our entire event. I was hesitant to put my future with a new boss into someone else's hands but I can't say enough about what a great job they did. Hilton should invest a little in this hotel. It's a gem!

This property was very tired and we were most disappointed. The bed linens smelled as they were old and had not been properly maintained or cleaned. The staff was just okay considering what they had to work with. Rather difficult to get a taxi from the property. We would not stay here again.
