Description: At Sinatra, the fine Italian restaurant inside Encore, Steve Wynn has created a tribute to the man who was equal parts colleague, legend and friend. Chef Theo Schoenegger, formerly of Patina in Los Angeles, crafts a culinary homage to Ol" Blue Eyes that showcases the signature flavors of Italy. First night in Vegas with the in-laws, and what better place to eat than the restaurant which pays homage to Old Blue Eyes, one who helped make Vegas the dizzying spectacle of excess and pleasure that it is today (for better or for worse...!). A quick summary: yummy food, expensive, pleasant atmosphere, satisfactory/good wait service, fun opportunity to see some of Sinatra's awards i.e. Oscar statue, Grammy, etc. Some of what we sampled was the antipasto, butternut squash pasta, asparagus side and sea bass. All was nicely prepared, portions were appropriate--not too huge but not too small that we felt cheated for the price. Extensive wine list; didn't have any dessert but a couple looked good. No complaints--viva Las Vegas!

To finish our holiday decided to eat at Sinatra. It was the conclusion of a week to celebrate my wifes 50th. Heard a lot about it and reputed to be best in Vegas. Alas not the case it's nothing like a good or average Italian. My best friend is Italian and as a consequence spend a lot of time visiting and eating in Italy. Starters and mains very disappointing, flavours very bland, lack of imagination and the pastas full of sugar, communicated to the waiter but met with shrug of shoulders and suggestions of
" who are you then a food critic " well yes I am oooppss.
After that didn't bother with sweets. By the way my wife got a birthday card!!!??? A drink would have been nice but expected This place is really for people to be seen in rather then people who appreciate good food. If you want atmosphere good service and food try Andreas the new one which we found wonderful so ate there three times.

This was the best of Las Vegas. You will enjoy yourself here -- advanced decor/civilization and dining amid the glitz that characterizesmuch of Las Vegas. As guests at the Wynn Encore, we landed timely reservations and wore our glad rags. The hostess, all wait staff, and manager made us welcome and were attentive. The meal/wine choices were excellent....unless I guess your mom is NY italian. Old Blue Eyes graces the wall and sings in the background...so what is there to complain about? Well, my only gripe is that the meal portions and prices were ample+ to the point of being too much. In other words, half the food/wine at half the price would suffice as an Excellent rating -- yet this is Vegas, baby -- so live the dream and bring your wallet. You will not be disappointed until your credit card statement arrives and you can overlook that. If you think you should go, then by all means go and you won't be disappointed.

What can I say? This restaurant blew me away. Best Pinot Noir I've ever had and the Mediterranean Sea Bass was out of this world! An absolute must!
