“Central Location, good rooms and "some" friendly staff”
Reviewed September 25, 2013

Generally this is a nice enough place although showing it's age a little I suspect. Room was great considering the deal we got but you will have to pay a resort fee on top....it seems all the major hotels/casinos do this so no way to avoid it.....even though I only used the facilities once. Casino is filled with smoke...but they all are so you'll have to get used to that. The only issue I had was checking in, we were 15-20 minutes early and then told "technically" your are checking in early so there was a $16 per room fee for this!! If it had been 3-4 hours early I would have understood but for the sake of 15 minutes I thought this was a bit much. Thankfully when we went back to check in we had a very nice lady who made up for it. Overall it was a pleasant enough stay and the price was right. Cleaners were very nice as well and did a great job to make sure we had clean rooms to come back to. Oh, and for some reason the travelators out the front of the hotel were never working....not sure why and it didn't really impact on our trip but might for elderly people.

Long long wait at check in!!!! When we arrived we entered a line of about 50 people. The check in staff had no desire to speed up the process!!!! With that being said i was offered the upgrade to the NEW Jubilee Tower rooms. Great choice! the rooms were brand new remodled and very nice. I do reccomend this tower if you have a choice. Bally's offeres many choices of food, gambling and shopping right there in the hotel. Location is good on the strip with many attractions within walking distance. Contruction on Bills Casino next door may offer some noise at night. I would stay here again next year.

Room Tip: Ask for a romm away from the construction across the street. Ask for the NEW Jubilee Tower!!

Stayed here many times and would not put antone off booking here. It may not have the glitz and glamour of the higher star resorts but its very clean and well maintained. Pool area is good and relaxed and newly opened food court next to it does the job perfectly (24 subway for you revellers). Reccomend the $7 raft rental for a day at the pool and the refreshing Pina Colardas.

Rooms are larger than most strip properties and have to congratulate house keeping on the great job they do.

They have the after hours clubs Drais here as across the road is getting refurbed so if you fancy clubbing here that gaff opens arouns 01:00am till 8ish. Indigo Lounge has music nightly from about 9pm till 3am with table service and good music but even better dancers (them locals know how to bop :)

Eateries include Side Walk cafe which I didnt visit this time round, Tequilla Bar didnt do that either, high end steak house yes I did & highly reccomend and Sea a Thai restaurant which is very good TIP: Dont get too spicy and it does have a kick. Oh yeah and a 24 hr sandwich bar called Nosh over by the south tower which is pretty much a subway.

Casino is busy at night, dead quite early morning but they do take a bet and wont shy away if you want to lay down large. All the table staff, supervisors are very friendly and give you a warm welcome apart from the odd one but that human nature. Poker room over the back welcomes all levels of play and you always get into a game any time day or night.
If your ever planning on playing at any of the major poker tourneys at Rio well Ballys do a shuttle bus straight from here to Rio every 30mins also Caesars is just across the road so if you dont fancy the mega resort (silly big is Caesars) well this is the place to stay and pop across to take your seat.

All in all as Ive stayed here many times I know what to expect and would definetly stay here again, good all round place, give me a shout if you have any questions you never know I might be of help :)

Room Tip: North tower for Pool, South tower for poker room and LV Blvd

Green Features: They promote being envro friendly with toewls etc eg try to use more than once but no probs if you want them changed twice a day if needed

We always stay at Ballys. It feels just like home. Location is excellent. Pleasing environment. Casino is lively, especially at night. Rooms are larger than most. We always stay in the north tower as it is peaceful and quiet.

Bally's in Las Vegas is the place to be !! Ideal location . I just loved my room !! The young lady that checked us in was very nice and friendly. She was fast and even got a free upgrade to the Diamond Room 16 floor. The hotel is Huge and Gorgeous. Our view was very nice saw the strip and Bellagio and other Hotels from our view. The rooms are cleaned every day and we had no problems. This is my second time staying there and I would do it all over again. The Casino has lot's of slots and I love the way how you can walk over to the Paris Hotel and Casino from Bally's. The live band that played at nights while we were there was really good. That Band is amazing !!! Loved my trip. It pays to get a Total rewards Card and play the slots you get Offers to stay at the Hotel that you would not get when you book on those other travel sites. The 5 nights we stayed, our total bill was only $84.00. 5 days Imagine that !!! Total Rewards Rocks !!!

Room Tip: Always take the virtual tour on the Hotel sites. Look at the rooms. It is exactly how the original r...

This hotel is located on the strip in a convenient location. It is easily accessible to the bus and the monorail. The line to check-in needs to have a sign that states from this point you have this much longer to wait because the staff is slow. I was almost in line for 45 minutes trying to check in. Of course, it is a country mile from the front desk to your room. The classic room is dated with antique hotel furniture probably popular in the 80s, but it was clean.

Room Tip: Don't get a classic room.

Green Features: I was there on business and was not made aware of this activity. I didn't see anything posted in the lobby or throughout the hotel so their practice was not advertised during my stay. The staff did not promote the practice or mention it as an added value for the environment.

True classics never go out of style, making Bally's Las Vegas the only choice for classic Vegas at the heart of the Las Vegas strip. And what could be more timeless than Mr. Las Vegas himself, Wayne Newton? In his original production, "Wayne Newton: Up Close and Personal," Newton sings crowd favorites as well as engages with the audience by answering questions, making for a truly extraordinary experience. Before the show, dining options at Bally's Las Vegas include BLT Steak, an interpretation of an American steakhouse with traditional fare and a bistro ambiance. BLT Steak is also the stage for the Sterling Brunch offered every Sunday where diners can enjoy the endless pours of Perrier-Jouët Champagne and unlimited American Sturgeon Caviar - the two pinnacles of the Las Vegas Strip's most famously indulgent brunch. If you're looking for a menu that's a little less traditional, SEA: The Thai Experience at Bally's Las Vegas offers delicious cuisine from southeast Asia. Buca di Beppo serves up classic Italian cuisine family-style, perfect for sharing and passing around the table.
