“Surprise by the free upgrade to suite”
Reviewed June 10, 2013

We arrived in midnight and they gave us a free upgrade to suites as the non smoking rooms are not available. The suite for sure worth more than the money we paid, a good size of room with jacuzzi inside. However, i dont like the smokey lobby. well it's las vegas. What can I say..

I always usually stay at Harrah's. I have been going there for many years and usually get comped for my rooms, but I visited Bally's to play slots. What a wonderful experience. The people were genuinely caring and helpful and the atmosphere was great. I got more play for my money on the slots and the machines were new, colorful and exciting to play. I think I would like to stay at Bally's the next time I visit.

Our first trip to this hotel was a better experience then this last trip.Stiull all in all a good place for the cost but we ended up with 2 rooms on the one floor on opposite ends of the hotel and out third room was on a different floor/even though she said they would keep us together.
rooms had asked for a kingsize bed non-smoking but we did not get them...we were sold into a queen size bed by the desk agent but a larger room.....beware this means a meeting room with a murphy wall bed to sleep on and we don't think they were queens but double sized beds.
If you loose your player card in the casino like i did they will come to your room with somebody who has picked it up and is trying to get into your room/It was at 430am.....so lock both the deadbolt and The one at the top if your all in for the nite.I was told by management the nesxt day that they would not have let him stay if he could not prove it was his room/I did not feel good about this for the rest of my trip.
Food at the tequila cafe was good.....huge natchos...fed all 3 of us for dinner....for 15.00 us
Chili is very very spicy so unless you like hot dont order it.
If you go to the sidewalk cafe for breakfast dont eat the buffet as its been cold 2 times and not worth it order off the menu and ask for Sharrons area....she is a pip made our stay.

Room Tip: ASk what type of room before agreeing to it/dont take a murphy wall bed unit for the extra space

When staying in Bally's you have to manage your expectations.

For the price of the rooms, the location can not be beat. I stayed in the North Tower on the 25th Floor, in a suite. The suite was great. It had a downstairs sitting area and upstairs bedroom. It was cleaned daily and I have no complaints at all about the room and servicing of.

I got the suite by doing the $20 sandwich trick. Google it if you don't know what this means.

The casino isn't the best on the strip by any means but Bally's is physically joined to Paris, which has got one of my favourite casino's on the strip so you genuinely do get best of both worlds staying in Bally's.

It may be dated but it still has an important part to play in Las Vegas.

Room Tip: When checking in, ask for a North Tower room (be sure to tip the clerk).

When I saw the location of this hotel (right in the middle of the strip) I thought it would be a bit more pricey, just for the convenience of the location. I was nicely surprised, very affordable and easy access to the strip. The layout is great, you're always a very short walk to the casino, parking garage, the Paris and a walk over bridge to the other side of the street. Our room was in the North Tower, and was very nice. Lots of room to move around (even with 4 adults in our room). We needed a refrigerator which was quickly delivered upon checking in. The beds were very comfy and the bath very roomy. We did use the pool everyday and it was never crowded although the water was way to cold for my preference. The entire hotel was clean and orderly, I wouldn't think twice about staying here again.

Having stayed in Las Vegas before at another hotel i was pleased at how large the room was, there was a sofa and a table and chair set also, bed was very comfortable and the rest of the room and bathroom clean and well maintained, as said by others there are no tea or coffee maker in the room, the casino was well air conditioned and no problems with smoke as others have said, the casino location is great as you are at the centre of the strip with the Paris next door and plenty of others across the road, for value and a comfortable stay in Las Vegas this is ideal and i would not hesitate in going back to Bally's again.

This is my second time staying at Bally's. the first time was in the South tower and this last trip, in the a north tower. I definitely recommend paying the extra $10 to stay in the north tower vs the south. The north tower rooms are updated vs the south rooms. South rooms will give you better strip views but the convenience of the north tower is better in my opinion. It's easier to get in and out of the elevators for the north tower. Those elevators will also take you down to the lower level where the shops and pool is. They're currently adding fast food restaurants to the lower level too. We had the first flight out of Chicago on Wednesday morning so landed around 7:30am Vegas time. Surprisingly we were able to check in without any wait. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful as was all of the staff. You can't beat the location and for the price, I definitely recommend it. I will most certainly stay there again. North tower of course :)
