This was my fifth visit, and fifth vegas hotel. I very much wanted to stay in the middle of the strip so I picked Bally's. I knew it was not going to be fancy but that was not my priority. I stayed in the south tower, old rooms. They are very dated and worn but everything worked well (which is not always the case) and everything was very clean. The cleaning staff was great. The best part is it is attached to the Paris hotel which is much nicer and a very short walk through the attached hallway. Many hotels don't have great and cheap breakfast options and Paris did so it was great being so close. The late nite music/bands at the back of the casino were awesome. In all, if you spend more time out of your room than you do in and would rather spend money on anything else, come here.

Room Tip: If you want to pay a bit more ask for the new rooms in the north tower.

This was 15th trip to vegas and our first stay at Ballys Front desk staff was great, we were in our room by noon. Room was older but clean and had a great view of the south strip , the cleaning staff did a great job. hotel is right in the middle of strip and connected to Paris hotel casino. While its not the Wynn, it is a great place to stay and very very affordable. We want to thank the staff at Bally's for a great trip We would for sure stay here again

Had a great 10 day stay at Ballys, was upgraded to a mini suite in the north tower, it was wonderful. the view wasn't bad either we had a side view of the Flamingo and Bills Gambling Hall and a great view of the mountains. The staff were very helpful and housekeeping couldn't have been better. Fresh towels every day,in the ten days they changed the sheets 7 times, when we came back to our room it was spotless, shampoos + soap were replenished when we ran low, we wanted for nothing. The location is perfect, centre strip directly across from Bellagio, theres a great moving walkway into the hotel, saves tired legs after a walk on the strip, and its connected to Paris which was nice. The pool was lovely, bit noisy at weekends, but no complaints from me and i'm 62. I can't say anything about the South Tower, but we had a great holiday and will definately go back to Ballys

Room Tip: We were on the 21st floor North Tower, very quiet room no. 2165 mini suite very near lifts, side vie...

We stayed here August 2011 we had comped rooms so i can't complain to much, just a few things that made me irritated. first i'd like to say that i've had nothing but good experiences in the past, and would recommend staying here.

when we checked in we were limited to rooms and the girl seemed to have a hard time finding something for us. She found a smoking room but i have asthma, i thought it would be ok, but i could not stand 5 minutes in that room, i've never been in a smoking room that was that bad. so i went to customer service, and there were a number of complaints, ahead of me. the girl seemed over worked, but curdious. she got us a room.
The casino floor waitress seemed, like she didn't want to do her job. I always tip a dollar, for a drink i finally had to hold the dollar out like i would in a strip joint for her to come over to me. I do like their quiet and small Keno area, it's kind of in the open, but the traffic in the morning is light, and i like sitting there for an hour in the morning. the waitress seemed annoyed when i was trying to discribe what i wanted, their definition of a cappicino is different from what i'm use to.i sat in the Keno area about 30 minutes before she came over.
On average though i like this casino, it's smaller, has the right atmosphere for me. the tables are hard to get on. They need to have a better craps area, it's crowded and hard to get on, and had one of the two with a $500 minimum. which didn't make sense when no one was playing.
stay here, if you want a casino in the middle of the strip, and not run down/cramped like osheas, Bills, and Imperial Palace. One special note, every ones legs seems to be broken when they get on the excalator in the entrance, be patient on this, they could have it going a little faster.

Room Tip: talk to your maid compliment them on the good job be sure to tip, i throw my change every day on the...

From the outside Bally's doesn't look the best especially compared to the other, grander hotels on the strip but it's definitely worth a look. main points:
- effective reception staff. Check in and out was swift and the staff very friendly.
- fantastic large room with a good sized bathroom and a great view of the Eiffel Tower and Paris pool. The beds were comfortable and the room clean. By the third day of our stay there was a bad smell coming from the sinks but nothing we couldn't handle.
- excellent pool and pool-side facilities.
- all of the staff who I came into contact with were really friendly and helpful.
- the casino itself is a bit dated, especially when compared to some of the other grander resorts but this wasn't really a problem for me as I wasn't really there to gamble.
- perfect location in the centre of the strip, right next to Paris and opposite the Bellagio. Free shuttle service and on the strip monorail.
- excellent value for money
- good concierge / luggage pool service

We were a group of lads on a bachelors and so this fitted perfectly with what I had been expecting and probably exceeded what I had thought we would end up with. With that in mind I would definitely stay here again for that type of trip but if you want something grand, you would be better off in some of the other plusher resorts nearby.

Just returned from a great 4 days(4/1-4/5 2012) at Ballys. We booked a south tower "grand suite" and enjoyed every minute of our trip. Room was older (remember this is the old MGM tower) but maid service was flawless and the sunken tub was a real treat after hours of walking the strip and sitting at the game tables. Everyone we dealt with in the casino were happy to see us (and take our money ;) ) and the bar just off the elevators was a a perfect place to unwind at the end of the night while playing VP.

Room Tip: Don't be afraid to ask for another room if you walk in and don't like the one you were given...
