“Top class room”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 18, 2014 via mobile

As a former employee of Marriott. We believe the customer service was outstanding this Springhill suites in the Nevada. Far above any other hotel we've ever stated thank you for being kind. The room amenities were superb very new-wave and extremely clean. The breakfast buffet was also very good with many selections very very well prepared.

I have stayed in a lot of places in Vegas , and for convention attendees, you can't beat this location. I don't know what the cost is during shows but the location is about as ideal as you could ask for. Right across Paradise Rd from the LVCC. The place is totally up to date in terms of interior design and layout. You need your hotel keys to get up the elevator and to the pool and gym ,( both nice and on the roof level). The rooms are really well laid out with a room divider that makes the desk and couch area really private. The separate shower and toilet is also smart. Each of those have sliding doors to maximize the intrusions and space. They provide a frig and thankfully it's not stuffed with overpriced mini-bar stuff. The finishes are first class, quartz table tops, real wood fixtures, nice tile and wall papers, and indirect lighting makes for one of the most modern feeling rooms I've seen in Vegas.
The included breakfast is excellent, all kinds of juices, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal yogurts, fruit, lots of bread, croissants, bagels and pastries. Some days they have ham and cheese or waffles. It will send you on your way as full as you want to be.
The evening happy hour is also a bargain , at 50% off their drinks. All the public spaces are well appointed for dining and relaxing. We were pleased with the ease of check in and check out as well. I would stay here again & would recommend this place to anyone wanting to bee near the Conv. Cntr or off the strip.
Bonus: The bus line on Paradise will take you to the airport for $ 2- and the monorail can also be caught right across the street at the LVH ( the old Hilton) . You can walk to the strip in about 8-10 mins as well.

Room Tip: High up will give you a good view of the area

Green Features: They seem to support green practices with their CFL lighting and not changing the towels everyday.

This Springhill Suites location is a good solution for anyone attending a conference at the Las Vegas Convention Center. A very short walk across Paradise Road gets you to the convention center in 5 minutes. The hotel itself is pretty good, with modern appointments and a fresh décor. The suite is spacious, although the separate shower and wc can be a bit of an inconvenience (some might find this to be a positive). The room is well furnished, with a comfy bed, ell-shaped couch with chaise, desk/work area, and mini fridge. The bed linens and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel has a well appointed workout area and the rooftop pool with fire pit was enjoyable as well. A business center, restaurant/lounge and ample lobby seating are all good amenities.

The free breakfast each morning certainly adds value to the stay. The breakfast each day included eggs and a side breakfast meat selection (Sunday: sausage patty, Monday: turkey bacon, Tuesday: bacon, etc) and other staples such as oatmeal, cold cereals, bagels, croissaints, English muffins, fresh fruits and assorted cold cuts, as well as juices and coffees.

The location is not particularly good if you're not primarily in town for a function at the convention center. No real dining options are within walking distance, and only the LVH or Riviera are within walking distance for casino type entertainment (both are rather tired). If you have a rental car however, parking is free, so the Springhill Suites may work for you.

I did enjoy the check in process and the room was clean when we arrived.

I did think your policy on how you treat your guests needing some improvement once they check in. We checked in on Thursday and had a great night sleep. We left the room about 8:00am for the day. When we returned at 4:20pm the room still had not been made up. I called down to the front desk about 4:30pm and asked if there was a reason why my room was not make up yet. They called someone while I was on hold and when the came back told me that they just had not got to it yet. The staff usually gets off at 4:30pm but they will stay until my room is clean.

About 10 minutes later they showed up to clean my room while I was trying to relax from the day.

This was not up to the standards I am use to. I truly regret using my hard earned points to stay at your location this time.

Spent 5 nights here. This hotel is located off Strip but across street from Convention Center. My husband needed to be close to Convention Center but children and I needed to be able to access Strip. Some days we took Hotel shuttle to outlet mall and walked from there. One day we used the monorail and we also had a rental car. Hotel has rooftop pool and fire pit. Rooms are large and very beautiful and breakfast buffet is awesome! Parking deck located on site

Room Tip: Ask for high floor facing strip

We were passing through on our drive back to Phoenix from Spring Break and spent one night here. The Strip hotels were more costly and charged a resort fee...which we found ridiculous for us to pay since we were just there to mainly recharge our batteries.

Check in was extremely courteous and helpful. Room was comfy and clean. There is a separate shower and sink bathroom and toilet and sink bathroom, which I thought was good planning so one person doesn't jam up the bathroom for everyone else! Extremely comfortable beds....I think I liked it more than our Sleep Number bed at home!

This is on Paradise Road...that if you drive south there are plenty of places to eat. We chose the Hofbrauhaus and the Sauerbraten with Spatzle and Red Cabbage did not disappoint! From there we drove to the Strip and parked for free at the Bellagio for our 8 year old daughter to enjoy the fountains and we did some shopping.

So for our needs...this was perfect. We were able to enjoy the Strip...but without the cost and craziness.

I cannot review breakfast because there were so many people around we could not even SEE the food. I don't know if there was a supply problem or if the area was just that busy. It would have been nice and more convenient if we could have eaten there in the morning before driving back home.

Room Tip: Morning elevators are packed....so our room on a higher floor was actually better. You get the elev...

This hotel has some good things going for it, but it could be better. Good location, parking convenient, overall quiet, large room and it was clean. Access to the hotel was easy but it is close to the convention center and unsure what it would be like with a large convention going on. Breakfast area spacious and clean. Appreciated the use of real dinnerware and silverware rather than plastic. Half price on drinks and full menu during evening reception. Was not impressed with check in. Not told about breakfast, evening reception and access to the internet. Being a gold member did not seem to account for much regarding greeting or room assignment. In fact, the maintenance and wait staff was much more friendly and helpful than the reception personnel. It would be great if they would smile and look like they enjoy helping you. For Vegas, the price was right. While not being at the top of my list of hotels I would not hesitate to stay there again.
