“Super Nice”
Reviewed February 26, 2014

This hotel was great! We were in town for my daughter's US Open TKD competition. The hotel fitness room and pool were great. I loved that it did not reek of smoke. The rooms were nice the cleaning crew did a great job! The lobby smelled wonderful and looked pretty and inviting. The rooms were very quite.

The only issue we had was at the pool. Our son was exiting the pool via the ladder and something sharp cut his foot. I completely forgot to notify management so that it doesn't happen to someone else.

Room Tip: We stayed on the 22nd floor. If you have kids this floor is good. Kids are wild and like to jump a...

Nothing jumps out, there was nothing out of the ordinary here as far as Marriotts go. But thats the best part. It was quiet, in the middle of Vegas. I was staying for my daughters cheer competition and wanted a non smoking with no casino . It did not disappoint, staff was friendly, breakfast was just enough and rooms clean.

Side note, if you like to go running wherever you stay like I do, don't go running on Paradise blvd. The exhaust alone was enough to do my lungs in.

If you are looking for places to eat turn Left headed East onto Flamingo Rd and there are restaurants, Target, fast food, groceries etc. Also a mall close by. Found it easier to get to than the craziness of Vegas Blvd.

Room Tip: Stayed in 1523, end of hall, very quiet.

We were in Vegas for my child's gymnastics meet. We decided to stay here because the meet was at The Riviera nearby. After reading the reviews for The Riviera, there was NO WAY I was staying there!! This hotel was right next to the Convention Center. It was a good hike to all of the action on the strip though. They do offer a free shuttle but it only takes you about a half a mile down the road. It worked but it would be nice if the shuttle would take you a little bit further down. We made the mistake of trying to drive down the strip to our shows, etc... DO NOT attempt that! Especially on a weekend! The traffic was terrible! Back to the hotel... The rooms were spacious and clean, the breakfast was good, the gym was much better than expected with more than enough machines. The staff was helpful and polite, especially at the bar. All in all, we were pleased with our choice. It was so nice having a quiet, calm place to come back to after spending time in the action packed area of the strip. The best thing about this hotel was that it did not smell of cigarette smoke! We would not stay on the strip with our kids for this very reason. We were in and out of some of the nicest resorts/hotels on the strip and every single one of them reeked of smoke. It is just impossible to get that smell out... I don't care what they say!

We loved staying at Springhill Suites, the reception was friendly and helpful and the beds were comfortable. Lovely little living area and the breakfasts were great value. The two bathrooms were really an advantage as we were four persons sharing the room. Everything was neat and we received clean towels every day. At breakfast you could see that the hotel was well filled, but the rooms were quiet and parking always available. We made good use of the laundry facilities. The place can do with more benches on which to put luggage. I shall certainly go there again.

Stayed here at the SpringHill for business, and travel to Vegas about 10 days a month. The experience was pretty much average all around. When I walked in I was greeted by the front desk, experience was okay, standard check in, and here is your key. The rooms had enough room for a work area which was nice. The bed was very uncomfortable, and the bathroom seemed really small, even though it was separated. The rooms were clean enough, not spotless. Based on the experience, there is not really a reason I would come back or be loyal to this hotel while on business since there are so many other choices in Vegas.

My husband and I were recently in Vegas for a bachelor/rette party weekend. Our friends chose to stay at Treasure Island, but I picked Springhill Suites because it was smoke free, and didn't have a casino in it. I am glad I did.

From the first moment we got there, the staff was friendly, polite and attentive. The hotel was clean, smokefree, and lively in a good way, with lodgers in the lobby meeting with friends or working on their laptops.

Our room was small, but provided more comfort, convenience, and amenities than my friend's T.I. hotel rooms. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was quiet, I didn't hear a hallway sound the entire time I was there, and a lot of people were staying in the hotel. There were only two things I did not enjoy about our room, lack of drawer space in the small dresser under the television set, and lack of a seal on the glass shower door, so it always seemed like I was banging it hard, and in the quiet environment it was extremely loud when it slammed.

The maids were sweet, and did a great job of cleaning the rooms. We didn't have a "daydream" card the first day to put on our door, but when the maid knocked I was able to get one, and we were not disturbed after that.

On the top floor of the hotel there was a nice fitness center, laundry, and a great rooftop view. On the roof there was a fire pit that they lit every night, where you could gather with friends, or alone and look at the strip. The pool was heated and remained open although it was 60 degrees, so anyone not afraid of a little cool weather could still take a dip if they liked.

The hotel was easily accessible by taxi to the strip and other locations. A ride to the center strip was approx: $10., and approx: $13. to the airport and back. You could walk to the Encore/Wynn properties easily, Circus Circus & the Riviera were right behind the hotel. LVH was the closest casino and monorail entry point. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the monorail, and then ride it to the Strip. I found the area easy to navigate. A gas station next to the hotel, supplied reasonably priced water, and snacks.

The only major downside was not having a choice of restaurants immediately in or outside of the hotel. Room service was quick, and the guy who came to our room was nice, funny, and helpful, but the food wasn't great. There is a small "grocery" area in the hotel, but they sold Hot Pockets which I have never have had, and never plan on having. LVH and Riviera provided the closest food choices, but they were always a 10 minute walk away. The room did come with a fridge and microwave, so we could keep yogurt and leftovers in it. The large couch and tables, did provide a good space for in-room dining. The free breakfast was standard Marriott breakfast buffet options, and changed from time to time.

Overall it was an enjoyable stay, and I would definitely stay there again.

I stayed on the 22nd floor in a suite. It had ample space with a sofa sleeper in the room. The room was clean and well kept. The major downside to this location is that, although it would be great for going to the convention center, you're going to need a cab to go to the Main Strip, or Fermont Street where most of the Vegas action take place. Happy stays...
