“Great for conventions and those who want to be close to the excitement but not in the middle of it”
Reviewed June 6, 2011

I stayed here for a conference and overall it was a delightful experience. This hotel is about 4 min walk from the convention center and across the street from the Hilton which is also connected to the convention center. It was easy for me to attend my meetings which were hosted by the Hilton and Convention Center. The rooms were spacious and modern, the layout was great. The beds were comfortable and there were even iPod docking stations in the room! A pleasant surprise. My only complaint, which I noticed several other people mention, is that the towels and bath linens are HORRID. Very small and rough! I was very disappointed and even shocked, as they did not match the rest of the hotel in quality overall. I've gotten better towels for $5 at Wal-Mart; that should tell you something.
Breakfast each morning was nice, served only from about 6:30-9am. Front desk staff were friendly and pleasant. I felt safe at this location as a woman traveling alone (you must use your room key to use the elevators). Would definitely recommend this to any of my friends/family traveling for a conference. It's close enough to the strip that you can get there within minutes if needed. I could see the Wynn/Encore from the area I was staying.
Overall, a pleasant stay. I'll definitely look for SpringHill suites when I travel again!

Pleasantly surprised by this Marriott property!

Located just off Paradise and Sahara, this hotel is away from all the hustle and bustle of
Las Vegas... but just a short walk away, and you're back in the middle of the gambling, drinking, and all the pleasantries associated with Sin City.

The hotel has a very trendy feel to it... Walking into the lobby, you're greeted by a very friendly staff, and a very budget-chic appearance...

Trendy, but without the snobbish attitude.

Wonderful views available from this hotel... at night, the scenary is just spectacular.

Rooms are spacious... The restroom is divided from the main bedroom by a frosted glass door. Different, and a bit invasive of privacy, but it's alright.

Spring Hills also houses a very nice pool area on the 24th floor, and a cozy gym area as well.

Overall, a very versatile hotel...

Only complaint is very minor... the air conditioning unit isn't very user friendly, and is continuously running. Perhaps we didn't understand how to work it properly, but it affected us enough to the point that we rated this hotel down to a 4.

We would come back :)

I did not plan to stay here but a bad experience at another Vegas hotel forced me to find other accommodations and I am really glad I found this place! This is first and foremost a well planned and executed business hotel. It is located just a block from the convention center. The Hilton is located across the street (past a very expansive parking lot) for the gamblers out there.

The SpringHill reminds me a little of the the Hyatt Place concept but the SpringHill suites blows Hyatt Place out of the water. Front desk personnel are a significant notch above most you find at most hotels. They are friendly, courteous, professional, informative, and helpful. All personnel I encountered at the hotel displayed these same traits. You can tell these people were not flipping burger before working there. I noticed a guy on the phone who needed to check his bags. The front desk clerk carried out the operation without interrupting the guys conversation or displaying an attitude since the guy was on the phone.

Check-in was a breeze. I had a room on the 20th floor with a view of the Wynn Golf course and that side of the strip. The room is not a"suite" in the The Hotel sense but was spacious nonetheless. The airconditioner cooled the room very quickly. A refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker is in the room.

The work area is well designed and excuted for the business traveller. There are plenty of power outlets, more than adequate lighting and a hassle-free internet connection.

The bed is very comfortable, includes a down duvet, and has numerous pillows of various firmness (a nice touch).

The unexpected includes true high definition TV picture quality, a 24th floor roof top pool, seating area, fire pit, and gym with fabulous views of the strip. The free breakfast includes items for the business traveller to grab and go (whole fruits, pastries & coffee to go) but it also includes eggs, turkey sausage, Juices, oatmeal with various toppings, various cereals, bagels, English muffins and a Belgium waffle maker. The seating area was overly large for the size of the hotel which allowed guests to spread out their morning paper and not be jammed up to the next person.
Security as others have mentioned includes keys required to access the rooftop pool area, gym, parking lot, and elevator access to you floor. The elevator from the parking area opens just before the registration area forcing guests to go past the always manned front desk.
This place definitely makes the business traveller fell at home and saves money as well. Food is very expensive in Vegas and the free breakfast is a big plus. Most Vegas hotels charge daily resort fee (around $15) which includes internet and access to a matchbook sized cardio area. Internet and access to the nicely equipped rooftop gym are included in the room rate.

We stayed in the Springhill Suites Las Vegas Convention Center for 1 night before embarking on a trip to the Grand Canyon before returning to Las Vegas to stay in one of the top big casino-hotel-resorts. We decided to stay off the Strip for the one night before the Grand Canyon since we didn't need a "Strip" experience for just one night and were going to do the full Strip experience a few days later. We had an excellent experience at the Springhill Suites.

Service is top-notch. Everyone from the front desk receptionist to the waiter in the hotel restaurant to the staff during the breakfast buffet were friendly and professional. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient. We were particularly impressed with the waiter at the hotel restaurant, who was incredibly professional, courteous and generous.

The rooms themselves are in good shape. Everything was clean, and the room was generally well-equipped. The hotel itself is very new-looking, clean and modern. The location is good for those who are in town for business or for a convention at the Convention Center, but a bit out of the way for those in town for the typical Las Vegas activities (casinos, shows, etc.) but since this hotel bills itself as a business hotel and for this purpose, it's perfectly suited. If you're in town for the crazy Las Vegas experience, though, this isn't the place for it (which is fine, because not everyone wants the chaos of a casino-hotel-resort on the Strip!) since this is a much quieter hotel.

All in all, a great experience! We booked this place based on TripAdvisor reviews and were definitely not led astray.

As a frequent Marriott customer, I gave this off-strip hotel a shot, and am I ever glad I did. This hotel is a block off the strip, across from the Las Vegas Hilton. Not a casino property so all the traffic in and out of the hotel is just hotel traffic. There's plenty of free parking in the attached garage if you have a car -- the only annoyance is that you must take an elevator down to the lobby from the garage and then a separate set of elevators back up to your room. Plenty of parking though.

If you do drive, it is very easy to avoid the traffic on the Strip. If you don't drive, a walk across the street to the Hilton gets you monorail access.

The rooms are modern and clean. I didn't like the bathroom being split into two separate rooms, but that was my only complaint. There is a rooftop pool and scenic overview from the 24th floor; great for taking some pictures. Breakfast was well-stocked and had hot food items, and there was a ton of seating space. Check-in/Check-out was also extremely fast, and after seeing the check-in lines at some of the casino resorts I felt even better about my choice.

I absolutely loved this hotel, and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

If your going to the Las Vegas Convention Center and don't need the casino drama, then this would be an excellent choice.
The staff was second to none (especially the 3pm -11pm desk).....

Remember, everything is always a cab ride away......

My team and I stayed at this hotel for the second year in a row. We were in town to participate in an athletic event. The hotel offered a discount on both hotel rooms and banquet room exclusive to our team for the event. I requested early check-in when I made my web reservation. When I arrived at about 8 am, I attempted to check-in knowing that it may be a bit too early. To my surprise, I was allowed to check-in, but the staff member stated that she was not normally allowed to check persons in this early. I appreciated the very early check-in, but it felt like I was doing something wrong by allowing the staff member to check me in that early. The rest of my experience was fantastic! The breakfast buffet is fantastic, as well as the rooms and work-out facility. Furthermore, this hotel is directly across the street from a Las Vegas Monorail station.
