“First Trip to Vegas”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

We stayed at this hotel for two nights during my son's tournament. We requested an early check-in due to the time in which our flight arrived; however, upon arrival, we found out the hotel was not able to fulfill the request. As a result, the shuttle took us to straight to the strip where we headed directly to the tournament. One of the greatest benefits of our stay was definitely the shuttle service. Each of the three gentlemen who assisted us on shuttle calls was prompt and courteous as we were picked up from the airport, driven to & from the strip numerous times, and driven to the airport on our day of departure. Additionally, Cookie was helpful at the front desk. Breakfast consisted of a variety of choices, the pool was nice, and the room was comfortable with a resort-like feel. We actually considered staying an additional night, but the hotel was sold out!!

We booked a suite here as we were travelling with our son and it was brilliant. Full size kitchen, bathroom with shower and loo which could be separated from the bathroom, flat screen TV, hairdryer, toiletries, balcony with table and chairs. We had booked to stay here our first 3 days in America but booked for the last 3 once there as we liked it so much. (We were travelling around in between).
Breakfast is included and they have social nights where an evening meal is included.
When we booked in we were offered a view of the strip or a pool view, we chose the strip the first time and the pool the second time. Each was just as good as the other. There is a free car park and they have a shuttle service which we didn't use.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff here and I would love to stay there again.

Room Tip: The road is quite close on the strip view side but once the doors are closed you can hardly hear it.

This hotel lives up to the nice reviews here in TA. We had a 1-king bed suite with a view of the strip on the 5th flr. It was tastefully decorated, spacious (esp the bathroom) and very clean ! The bed was very comfortable and we really liked the furnished kitchen, we were able to enjoy our leftovers and order takeout. There is always parking available, the pool is nice, esp in the afternoon when you can get some shade. Breakfast is more than adequate, they have hot and cold items, good coffee and a take-out bag if you're in a hurry. They have a manager's reception on T, W,Thurs nights that is good enough for dinner.

What I like most about this hotel is that it doesn't have a casino, it doesn't reek of alcohol and cigarettes, no rowdy/drunk people waking you up in the middle of the night. Everything is a short walk away, lobby to parking, lobby to pool, etc. The breakfast bar is always fully stocked and clean.

We also got a good deal on our room, our first night was free because we found a cheaper price for our room on a different website. FYI.

Overall, we had very pleasant stay here and will not hesitate to come back.

We chose this place because we wanted a quite retreat from the busy strip. We were a little worried when booking that the pictures would be nicer then the actual hotel. We were wrong, the pictures don't do it justice. This place is amazing. We had the suite with full kitchen, it came quipped with everything you need to make a meal if you choose. The breakfast buffet was also better then expected and had plenty of healthy choices.
What the pictures didn't show was the great bathroom setup. On one side is a big beautiful soaker tub that you can see the bedroom TV if you choose. Then on the other side is a big shower. In the mornings we would get our breakfast and take it out on our balcony with over looks the strip. The pool and hot tubs were relaxing, can bring your own drinks down and just relax.
The free shuttle takes you right to the strip. And if you need to take a cab its only about 10-15$ from anything.
This place also has blackout curtains and BBQ for use beside the pool
This place is perfect for the more relaxed couple who is just looking for quality time together.

Room Tip: If staying longer then 3 days get the full kitchen. Its worth it.

Rooms were outstanding! Space, furnishings, bedding, cleanliness and a fully equipped kitchen were wonderful. Be prepared to pay a significantly higher pet fee if you have a dog with you. The good news is they allow pets; the bad news is they charge a very high fee to allow you to have them in your room with you. Much higher than other area hotels. But, the hotel, the rooms, the property, pools, Jacuzzis and all amenities were just great. Its in a great location, too. Its far enough away from the strip so you can get away from the congestion, but its close enough to be able to get there in 5 minutes or so

Room Tip: They're all large suites so you just can't go wrong. Our views were great, and it looked lik...

Thank you for your review, Boaters63. I am thrilled you had a great time by apologize you found the pet fee a bit high. Most hotel in Las Vegas do not allow pets that ar not service animals. We welcome them with a small $75 fee for 1-6 nights. (Much better than having to board them.) --Nicole Marshall nmarshall@thmc.biz

We had read a lot here on TA about this hotel and our expectations were met. We did get the free upgrade from the regular studio to the suite and were able to check in at about 10:30 AM. We were on floor one so did not have a view but we did not care. The suite did not have the separate shower but that was ok too. The staff was wonderful and we enjoyed the variety at breakfast.

The bed was comfy and the sofabed was adequate.

We did not use the shuttle because we had a car. We did not use the pool either as the temps were over 115 when we visited.

We recommend this as the best off strip property in Vegas.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, annbell. I am thrilled to hear we met your expectations and next visit I hope to exceed them. When the temps get over 110, the best time to take in the pool is in the evening. It's still 95-100, but the sun being down makes it feel better and you can enjoy our pool until midnight. The Deluxe Suite has the separate shower and tub that it sounds like you were looking for. On your next stay, let us know you are looking for a Deluxe Suite and we will see what we can do. --Nicole Marshall nmarshall@thmc.biz

I've been to Vegas a couple of times. I stay at Staybridge each time, one trip lasted seven weeks. Everything is just as you would expect from an extended stay hotel. Really nice spacious clean rooms, good location off-strip. Helpful friendly staff. Only improvement would be the breakfast selection. Looking forward to come back.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the strip/highway are noisy, but have a great view. Rooms on opposite side which are qu...
