We really enjoyed this tour. The scenery was beautiful, the sunset over Lake Mead magnificent. The food was plentiful, and delicious. Connive on the staff was excellent, and gave us some great ideas for our ongoing trip.

We did the Lake Mead Dinner Cruise with a party of five. When we booked, we looked at the bus pickup schedule and realized that it was going to take over an hour to go to all the hotels picking up, so we decided to rent a car and make it a day trip instead. The travel voucher we got said "complimentary pickup is offered", and "if you require this service, make arrangements 72 hours in advance". Nevertheless, the tour operator was adamant that we had to take the bus or we would not be permitted on the boat, so we gave in. In the end we were picked up at 3:45, and didn't make it to the boat until 6:25 - 2 hours and 40 minutes for a 45 minute drive.

But I do have to give the dinner cruise itself high marks - a nice look at the dam, a beautiful sunset, and good food and service.

The actual cruise on www.lakemeadcruises.com was very nice. Good food, great service, spectacular views.

Getting there totally sucked. We booked on www.viator.com/tours/Las-Vegas/Lake-Mead-Dinner-Cruise who uses http://www.airbridgetours.com/ to get you there. This part of the trip totally sucked. It is only a 5 hour tour if you are staying near the MGM. We were staying downtown - got picked up at 3:45 and did not get back until after 10 PM! We called and asked if we could just show up at the boat - we wanted to drive there and stop along the way, but we were told that we need to be on the bus or lose our reservation with no refund. As we were not asking for any money back, this did not make any sense. We talked with Airbridge and Viator and could not get anyone to make this work.

The trip out there on June 2, was not enjoyable at all. The bus driver tried to keep us entertained but has only been in Las Vegas for two years and her "presentation" skills need a lot of work. She should learn more about the area other than how many Walmarts there are if she wants to keep us entertained.

Take the cruise, but rent a car for a day and enjor the ride. You are paying over $30 per person for the bus ride - not worth it!

A beautiful sunset cruise with my family on Mother's day. Dinner was good. Garlic bread was delicious! Staff was very nice. It was a very relaxing dinner with beautiful scenery and my mother really loved it. They gave all the mom's a rose! Very reasonably priced for a cruise and dinner. They spent just the right amount of time at the dam, they didn't rush and we were able to get all the pictures we wanted. Immensely enjoyed by everyone from my 80 year old mother to my 15 year old son.

We booked a $8,000 wedding package and, at the time of the wedding, were told "we'll keep going as long as the parties going on..." Well, their dinner service was slow and the director pushed us thru the party portion of the wedding in 30 minutes. That's the 1st dance, mother/son / father daughter, money dance, bouquet, garder toss, everything in 30 minutes and then she lied to us and told us that the DJ was the one who was pushing it.
When we docked the photographer asked if we could utilize the upper deck to get additional photos, the director said no, the Captain had a long drive home and had to leave... this showed her hand...
We made a gamble utilizing Lake Mead Cruises for our wedding, they could try to make amends for their actions, but you only get one wedding day...
