The Camel Safari is more than just an opportunity to ride a camel in the Mohave Desert. It’s a chance to meet a rancher who truly cares for his herd of 32 Bactrian, Dromedary and Hybrid camels and is eager to share his knowledge with his guests. After signing a waiver, we were given a talk about camels and their history. The ride was a simple guided walk around the property while Guy answered questions, pointed out each of his animals by name and told us about their distinct personalities. I handed my phone to one of the staff members who took lots of pictures to remember the experience by. We got to pet, scratch, and nuzzle the animals and feel perfectly comfortable doing so. This is not a circus-type attraction where animals are exploited for the sake of tourist dollars. It’s an opportunity to learn things you never thought you wanted to know about camels and go home with a warm and fuzzy feeling ... and maybe a fuzzy stuffed camel if you come with your kids. A first-class operation worth seeing if you are in the Mesquite or Las Vegas area.

Was looking for something to do when meeting up with cousins we hadn't seen in years. This was perfect! We learned about camels, and got to see various other animals in addition to the camels. The staff was very friendly and obviously loved working with the animals. They were also very accommodating: several members of our group had mobility issues and transportation was provided for them, also we added to our reservation at the last minute and this was handled without issue. When our tour was over there was no problem with us hanging out and catching up with our cousins while taking a bunch more pictures. Again, this was a great experience!

Next time we will plan further ahead to book a camel ride!

I saw the sign in I-15 on my way to Mesquite so many times and finally decided to stop by with a friend (reserved the day before).
So glad I did. The animals are awesome and so well taken care of. The keepers are well educated and friendly and helpful. Made for a truly amazing and fun time, and I’m taking my granddaughters back in a few days. They are gonna love it!!

We got to visit Camel Safari in the desert while we were visiting family in Las Vegas. We were booked to do the camel ride but due to the weather we were unable to ride. But we got to do the walk through and meet all the animals! Staff were kind and had great attitudes as well as being very knowledgable. We have never been able to get so close to animals to be able to see them and learn about them and we had that opportunity here. It was a very windy and cold day but we still had a great time! We highly recommend you to check this place out if you are coming to Las Vegas!
