Description: Texas de Brazil is no ordinary steakhouse. It’s a dining experience like no other. Here, traditions of Brazilian cooking blend with Texas hospitality to create a lively atmosphere in an upscale setting. Your meal begins with a visit to our extravagant salad area where you can indulge in a wide array of seasonal roasted vegetables, fresh artisan breads, charcuterie, imported cheeses and other specialties. Then enjoy the rodizio-style dining that has made us famous. An endless parade of gaucho servers visits your table with skewers of freshly grilled beef, lamb, pork, chicken and Brazilian sausage carved directly onto your plate. It’s all served with authentic side dishes of garlic mashed potatoes, Brazilian cheese bread and sweet fried bananas. To complement your meal, select from our award-winning collection of wines or traditional Brazilian bar creations. And don’t forget to treat yourself to one of our decadent a la carte desserts.

Yes, it's pricey and not the kind of restaurant you go to regularly but the atmosphere and experience is well worth an visit now and then. Just about every kind of meat from chicken to lamb to fine cuts of beef are cooked to perfection and then brought to your table at regular intervals for you to choose what you would like to try... a little or a lot. The rest of the buffet is amazing too. Take your time and try a little of everything as it is all good and worth sampling before you choose larger portions.

I make three to four trips a year to Vegas for business conferences. I find it nice to "get away" from The Strip at least once to get away from all the "action". This restaurant is just South of the Mandalay Bay nestled in the Upscale Town Center shopping plaza. But that's not the reason for this positive review.

The food and service at this "Brazilian Steakhouse" are simply fantastic. The wine list is wonderful, the salad bar is incredibly wide with variety and the meat - delivered and sliced from "swords" is a good as it is plentiful!

This is the fifth year that I have hosted a party of 20 or more and they handle matters wonderfully. Based on some of my guests' raves, others from the conference made trips to Texas de Brazil the following nights in groups of four and five and all were grateful for the recommendations and the experience.

I was taken here for my birthday. It was a great experience. The food was very good. The only issue i had with the food was the garlic steak was to salty. The service was attentive. The prices were to high ( I snuck a look at the bill ). Food prices were ok but the cost of drinks was very high.
Pros: great service. Very good food. Fixed price for food
Cons: drinks to expensive

Off the Strip, north of Mandalay Bay, in what appears to be an upscale shopping center (it was dark and hard to see what else was there), this is a very attractive restaurant with a masculine feel, lots of large beams, dark wood, and rustic elements. The "salad" buffet has both hot and cold items, charcuterie to shrimp, but don't fill up on it, leave room for the star of the meal, the meat. A carnivore's delight, the Parmesan pork was well-flavored, tender, and moist, the filet, with and without a bacon wrap, was perfectly cooked, and the house special sirloin, don't miss it! It was melt-in-your-mouth tender and flavorful, I can transport myself back to its taste and texture. Yummy. Desserts are good but are not included in the price. The service was good and the meat servers, there must be a term for them, were attentive and quick to bring whatever was asked for. Oh, and the caipirinhas were very good.

This restaurant was so good, we almost went back the next night. However it is Las Vegas and there are lots of great restaurants to try. (On our 2nd evening, we dined at Roy's - also excellent.)
