Another characteristic hotel, Stratosphere is one of most priceworthy places to stay in all of Vegas! We loved the service of the staff in the bars and restaurants. There were great drink offers in all the bars, as well as quite a few affordable dining options. We saw the show "Pin Up" here, and only paid half the price for it.

The pool area is magnificient. It's large with plenty of sunbeds, although the pool can get crowded at times. The prices in the pool bar are not on the cheap side.

The hotel also provides free access to Vegas' highest tower, from which you get a panoramic view of the whole city, and can watch people do the SkyJump.

Compared to our stay at Luxor the week before, we both paid less and enjoyed it more at Stratosphere. If there is one minus it'd be the distance to the main attractions on the Strip. They're a 30 or 40 minute walk away. The buffet isn't much to write home about either, so we'd strongly recommend other options for breakfast and dinner, inside or outside the hotel. But when it comes to value for money, other hotels in Vegas have a lot to learn from Stratosphere!

Obviously you have to know what you're getting in for when you book the Strat. We were pleased with our experience. At check in, Megan was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. Tips for picking a room, try to avoid being near the elevator, as you can hear every time the elevator "ding"s! And every conversation people have as they wait lol (for that reason as well, avoid the 8th floor, where the pool is! Our room was one that had been refurbished not long ago, and I imagine it's worth the slightly higher price. We had no complaints about the room. Beds were comfy, tub and shower were good. My one annoyance though was a lack of fan in the bathroom. Also, no towel rack, only a couple hooks, which made it less enticing to reuse towels, since they likely wouldn't be dry.
Made my way to the pool one morning, which was very nice. Also went up to the observation deck (included for free) which is def worth the trip up. Incredible views!
It's a bit of a hike to the main strip (we only walked it once), but the bus stops right outside the hotel and you can get a 3day pass for $20! (Go to the machine by Carl's Jr for the 3 day pass)

You can't beat the value of the Stratosphere. The accommodations are beautiful, casino is top notch and the food options are plentiful. Plus it gives you the option of old
Vegas and new Vegas within walking distance.

In all the times we've been to Vegas we have never been to the Stratosphere so stepped off the Deuce to spend some time. Had a fun time gambling, good drink service and reasonable play time in the large casino. Then, we went up to the 107th floor where it was - lucky for us - happy hour! Enjoyed a couple of the mango margaritas and were wowed by not only how far we could really see in the city late afternoon but at how close everything still looked. Isn't that how it is all over the city? We didn't stay in the hotel, so no comments there, but it was a fun place to play and party for a few hours.

We had a large, clean room which had 2 Queen sized beds! There was a fabulous view from the window. Coffee making facilities, powerful shower and air con!

The Concierge was very helpful, booking a trip for us to the Muir Woods.

Large casino, restaurants and shopping areas within the hotel.

Go up the tower (free if you're staying there it's free) and watch those brave enough to jump off the top.

Room Tip: Fantastic hotel, at the end of the strip. Tour bus service (hop on and off) goes up and down The St...

We were in vegas for our anniversary for 3 nights. We decided to try something new and stay at the stratosphere.... We will never ever stay there again! 1. Rooms are extremely dated. A motel would have nicer decor. 2. Our toilet leaked 3. The bathroom light flickered the whole time it was on and had a fan that went on simultaneously that sounded like an airplane engine. We went to the bathroom in the dark. 3. The shower head was broken. The water trickled out. 4. Free wifi is offered to hotel guests for free. Warning: IT Does NOT work!!! This is a major problem when you are Canadian and think that you are hooked up to your hotels wifi. I got home to a massive overage bill. 5. There are bums and hookers walking around the casino. We were heading up to our room on the 23 floor and there was a bum roaming the halls! We felt unsafe. 6. Location is terrible. 7 beds are terrible.

I had been to Las Vages this time last year for a 4 day trip with my brothers for a special occasion and stayed at the Signiture MGM Grand and it was out of this world so when we decided that we would be going back i thought try a different end of the strip - Horrible mistake.

We had booked a twin deluxe strip view tower suite and it was worse than staying at a travel lodge in the UK, small dark, not a suite, terrible showering facilities and overall a complete let down. When raised issues with the front desk a complete lack of interest was shown, even when we tried to pay for an upgrade. The hotel has supposedly been through a recent refurbishment - I dread to think what it would have been before.

We should have known better and stuck with what we liked.

Room Tip: Dont stay here
