“Tower with thrill rides”
Reviewed November 29, 2012

Good hotel with casinos. Buffet, restaurants in the hotel are many and one can find italian food also. The hotel location is nice and just near it one can find other restaurant providing chinese food also. There is a Huge tower in the Hotel that has thrill rides. Entry to tower free for people staying in the hotel.

Very nice room. Clean and tidy, cleaned and tidied every day. Spacious but lack of a place to put the suitcase. My only gripe is that unfortunately smoking is allowend in the casino, and that there is nowhere to just sit without looking at some sort of gambling machine or card area Shame I don't bet. Otherwise I may have enjoyed the smoky (cough cough) atmosphere
Thank you staff.

or the price, we were generally underwhelmed with our stay there. The room had a view of the wall. There was not even coffee maker in the room, the pool area was a bit gritty. The rides were good, but the top restaurant was closed and lines to get to the Tower were way too long. One good thing for us, was it was in less crazy part of the strip- abit quieter, but then we had to pay extra to get to shows too. Overall, would not really recommend it for the price.

This was our second time at the Stratosphere and once again we had a lovely stay. We had a select room which was very clean and fresh, beds were very comfortable with a great view from the 24th floor. Buffet was good for breakfast and dinner, although the food choices were about the same every day. A trip up the tower was an amazing sight and highly recommended for anyone visiting las vegas, we didn't try the rides though as a little too high and scary for our liking. Casino was good but would like to see a couple of extra different card games to try.The hotel is away from all the hustle and bustle of the strip but we had a car so luckily not a problem for us, we liked the fact you can drive away to a quieter place after a busy day out. The hotel is also fairly close to Downtown Las Vegas and Fremont Street which is a must as the atmosphere is great. All in all a very nice stay and will be back on our next trip.

Stayed here for one night on a recent trip back to Vegas. The extreme rides were great and really good value at $15 for hotel guests for unlimited use. We had dinner at the top of the world restaurant which was great and the view and service were outstanding.

The actual hotel was really dated and the pool was surrounded by hot concrete no trees or anything and was filthy dirty. Would not be in a rush to stay at the hotel again.

Stayed there for a week in the newly remodeled Section with awesome LED TVs and great service staff...........The casino is old and Small but wanted a good option (inexpensive) to be on the strip.........

The Starbucks staff can be better but that is ok..........The valet guys are really helpful in terms of directions...........Overall a recommended Hotel to save some money............

Room Tip: New Section on 20th Floor................

My family of 3 adults and 2 teens stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Not much places could offer a clean hotel room with a beautiful view, excellent service, and valet parking, all this for $210. we sat at the bar in the tower and could see all of Vegas and it cost nothing to go sit in there. If your looking for a posh expensive place, its best to head into the strip. Food, clothing, and accessories are very affordable within the hotel. Having a McDonalds there is great if you want a midnight snack. Its great for the kids, cause they got to do some shopping and walked around without us hovering over them. Im definitely booking next year for 1 week, then going to try a week on the strip.
