“A mine of useless information”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013

Eugh - what can I say?? The only good thing about this place was the housekeeping. They did an excellent job each day of cleaning and even when I had to call them to ask for more towels they delivered within minutes!

The concierge service was truly appalling. Staff members knew nothing about the facilities or even what was to see and do in Las Vegas! Do not believe what they tell you as invariably it will be incorrect. They told me I could use any swimming pool within the Caesars Entertainment group - this was a lie! The only pool that you can use is at Rio's.

We stayed for three nights in may. I have been to several hotels in vegas and this is by far the best value. (Around $100 a night) The rooms are clean, beds comfy, and bathrooms spacious.

The best part about this hotel is the location. You are located in the heart of vegas just steps from the strip, caesars, and the venetian. Also, directly next door is a chipotle and mcdonalds, for a bachelor party this was perfect because we really just wanted to eat and go.

The casino is large and offers plenty of table games and slots, the sportsbook is just average and they are stingy with free drinks when betting on sports, however, sit at a table game, and the drinks will keep coming!

The only negative for me was that the pool was a little disappointing, not to say that it wasnt nice, it was just very basic compared to other pools i have been to in vegas.

A few quick tips, if you sign up for their "total rewards" u can skip the long check in line, abd depending on room availability, you can get early check in at 12pm for no extra charge.

Also located next door to harrahs is casino royale which offers $1 michelob/ mic light all day everyday so if you just want a beer without having to sit at a table, this is a place to go grab a quick beer. Also, casino royale has a few more cheap eats, subway, $1.99 footlong hotdogs, cinnabun, and pizza

Good luck!!

Stayed here to attend a conference next door at the Venetian which was sold out. The stay overall was OK, but nobody went out of their way to make it great. No perks, no coupons, no discounts, no 2 for 1, etc. Checked in a little before noon and was told there was a $28 early check-in fee, or I could upgrade for $15 extra per night - so I took that option. Then there is an $18 per night resort fee which includes use of high speed internet and the pool, and something else like parking. I would be less insulted if they were just honest and called these extra charges what they really are - additional profit charge. The upgraded room (if in fact I was upgraded) was very average and overlooked an array of air conditioning units, too noisy to open the window. The lighting in the bathroom was so dim that a candlelight dinner would have been brighter. There is NO WIFI in the rooms, you have to find a cord and find a port to connect online. The swimming pool was nothing special, half the space was taken up by 'rentable' beds and booths, etc. What was the purpose of the resort fee?? Profit, I forgot. Everything worked, it was comfortable enough, it just wasn't super and it wasn't a deal. I have no intentions of ever staying here again when there are so many better options in Vegas.

Tried three times to obtain internet, three times was told someone would come up to the room with the required modem. Three times no-one showed! No instructions in the room, and the TV information channel just blinked "connecting" continuously. Makes it worse to think you pay an additional $18+tax per night "resort fee" that supposedly covers items such as internet access. When you book, these fees are NEVER included in the quoted price until you start to read the small print.

Stayed here for two weekend nights. Some construction in the area which was a bit inconvenient, but the staff was friendly and helpful and the room were accommodating and comfortable. Location was pretty central. Would stay here again.

While there are certainly more luxurious hotels, they are also much more expensive. For right on the strip, it was a good location and didn't charge the normal resort tax. If you need a very high end resort, this may not be a good fit. For me it was perfect. The rail car stops there, and it is right next to the Venutian. I could see the mirage volcano from my hotel room and the room was very nice. No continental breakfast but plenty of places for food in the area. Denny's right next door. I am going again in June and plan to stay there again. Two thumbs up for me!

Upgraded to suite in mardi gras tower, clean, spacious, love jacuzzi tub, large shower, refrigerator, and 3 TVs, but the ventilation system was terrible, we both had sinus problems every night. Included lots of extra bath items, bathrobes and slippers. Enjoyed casino and chinese restaurant. Favorite restaurant for any meal and drinks is the Sugar Factory near Paris Hotel. Even their coffee and lattes are the best. Senor Frogs is a blast! Chipolte burrito bowl, great snack lunch in your room. Happy to see Fremont St. has been updated and cleaned up. Get your total rewards card to qualify for early check in. Had a great experience with Cassy at the front desk, very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. Taxi is the way to go, to and from the airport. Beware of some of the advice on this site: I searched for 2 restaurants Isla at Treasure Island & Mamacitas downtown due to the referrals, but they are long gone.
