We had to stay one night at Harrah's before moving to Bally's. We booked and confirmed that we were getting a room with a king bed. Instead we got a shoebox sized room with a queen bed. Talk about tight quarters, if you rolled out of bed you'd hit the wall. The room was also at the end of the hallway. I'm glad we only stayed one night, There was no view as is the case with all Harrah's rooms. If they do offer you a strip view beware... you will need binoculars to see the strip since Harrah's is set back quite far off the street. We are staying at Harrah's Atantic City in two week for The Who concert. We really don't like staying there either but it was the only one of the Total Rewards casinos that would comp a Friday night. Bottom line is we always have problems at Harrah's (Las Vegas and Atlantic City)

Spent 5 days at Harrah's in early July. The casino smelled like smoke and the decor was dated and old. The room, however, was modern and had all the amenities that my fiancee and I needed. We did not spend hardly any time in Harrah's. We ate at the buffet (which was ok) and slept in the room. The entertainment was not interesting and the table games were expensive. If you get a deal on a room, go for it, but don't expect to spend a lot of time there.

We just came back from a 2 night stay at this hotel. We paid for a Premium room which had upgraded finishes and 2 flat screen TVs and maybe some other "perks". When we checked into our room we were astonished to see how small it was. For example there was only a night stand on one side of the bed because you could reach over and touch the wall from one side of the king-sized bed. There was a very small round table and 2 upright dining room style chairs as an additional space to sit in. The TV cabinet and closet were built into the wall a couple feet from the end of the bed. Oh, and the 2nd flat screen TV was in the small bathroom. The housekeeping staff encouraged guests to reuse towels but the bathroom was so small there was no rack to hang a towel on so that it would dry out between uses. The WORST thing about this room (and more than 100 others in the Mardi Gras Tower) was the hotel's own outdoor music/drinking venue which blared music from 6PM-3:30AM right under the odd numbered rooms in this hotel wing. If you do get a good rate, not plan on spending much time in your room (after all this is LV), and are able to sleep with music shaking your walls, you can blindly take a room at this hotel. If you are unable to sleep with this kind of wall shaking music going on until 3:30 AM (at least on the weekend when we were there), ask for a room facing away from the Carousel. Any other tower/direction should be a big improvement for your sleep.

Booked our ro thru Priceline it said breakfast was included. When we checked in they told us was a 9.00 voucher at Starbucks. That is not what I consider breakfast. There was 2 in the room and the one day they told us it was only 9.00 per room I told them no it was per person. The lady argued with me. I went and talked to the hotels agent and he could have cared less. The concierge gave us wrong information and he acted like we were bothering him. It took forever to check in. The room was very hot so had to open windows then that made it noisy. 4.00 for a bottle of water in gift shop and at Starbucks.i would never recommend this place. A smile from the staff once on a while and thank you would be nice. What happened to customer service

Not sure it really matters where you stay seeing as its Las Vegas Baby! haha but Harrah's was a really cool place. Nice hotel rooms, very clean. Easy to get lost inside, the place is huge! I remember they had breakfast on offer however I just never woke up in time. With that being said, that's about all I can remember to be honest haha :)

Location, Location, Location. The conveniences of Harrah's covers over a lot of negatives. The Carnival Tower elevator bank on the 22nd floor exhibited the effects of an irate gambler whose waltz with lady luck had taken a southward drop..........the hole in the wall remained there throughout the stay even after being reported to both housekeeping and the front desk.

The smoke in the casino is becoming more troublesome. Surely there's a better method of circulating that stale air with fresher air during the heaviest usage times......but in Lost Wages, that could be all day and nite.

The Hotel Parking garage is a plus. Easy in and out access. The construction in the rear of the building makes it a bit tricky getting back in the first time, but once the new property is completed it will be easier.

Their airport shuttle is only $ 7.00 and is easily one of the best values in town.

This is the second time that we stayed at Harrah's. Staying here puts you in the middle of all the action and the monorail (our mode of transportation) is right outside. The room that we were assigned was a "connecting" room and the kids next door were terribly loud. One call to the front desk and our room was changed without an issue! First day asked for extra coffee and was provided each day of our stay. All these little touches are why we chose to stay there again. Thanks for an awesome week and will return soon....we hope
