“Excellent Encore!”
Reviewed March 17, 2014

We stayed 6 nights in a King Suite. Room which was very comfortable and very clean, view towards the Stratosphere and mountains. The staff in the hotel were excellent, very helpful, friendly and not overbearing. The hotel has pretty much everything you need, nice casino which is bright and airy compared to many in the older hotels, good shops, restaurants, pools, spas, gym, nightclubs and is close to a very good mall and next door to the Palazzo which is very nice and also has some great shops and restaurants. The buffet in the Wynn is amazing and worth a visit, certainly the biggest buffet selection we have ever seen, the only down side is that you have to queue to get in (average 15 - 20 mins wait). We went to the Jazz brunch in the Country Club overlooking the golf course which was fantastic, take the unlimited bubbles and have unlimited pink champagne with your brunch for $25 per head. The show in the hotel Le Reve is spectacular and as it is in the round even the cheaper seats have a great view although you might get splashed! Allegro restaurant was very poor wouldn't go there, the parasol bars overlooking the lake and the SW steakhouse were excellent and there is a free show on the lake every hour or so. Casino staff very friendly and helpful and if you are not really gamblers they will explain things to you. Min bets a little higher than in other Casinos generally $15 - $25.
Saw Celine Dion at Caesars Palace and Cirque de Soleil Michael Jackson One show at Mandalay Bay while we were there and both really brilliant shows and worth a visit.
Would recommend the Strip Burger Joint opposite the hotel, "strip" as in it is right on the Vegas Strip! Had a great American cheese and bacon burger, sweet potato fries and a chocolate fudge milkshake - heaven! Enjoy!
Would recommend the Encore

I like to get the negative over with early, my one and only gripe would be that the Encore is about as far down the strip you can get and . The Encore and Wynn are so big that it's a bit of a hike to get to the action.

The hotel experience itself is superb. We stayed in the Tower Suites and the separate entrance, lobby, check in and elevators are invaluable.

Our King Tower Suite was outstanding in every way. The bedding was top notch, the living area while not overly large, was perfect for two people. The bath was one of the better features with double vanity, separate tub, very large a shower and private toilet. The room also featured very ample closet and drawer space. The entire room seemed very "new" with almost no signs of wear and tear.

As soon as you pull up, you know you are in a very special place. The entire staff: valets, bell hops, registration, etc... all make you feel very welcome. We arrived well before check in time. They got us checked in and took down our number to call us when our room was ready. We were able to keep ourselves busy on the property for a couple of hours before being called at 1pm, a full two hours before actual check in time which was greatly appreciated.

During our stay, the room was very well serviced each morning and the evening freshen up and turn down was an outstanding touch.

I am not sure how many of the extra details were a part of being in the tower suites and how much is to be expected in any room. However, I highly suggest the tower suite experience.

We will definitely be back in the future!!

Room Tip: I highly suggest the Tower Suites experience.

We have just returned from a fabulous 5 night stay at the encore. We asked our friends which hotel was the best one to stay at and encore came out on top and I'm happy to say they were right! Everything is 5 star luxury from the suites to the pool area to the many restaurants available. The best thing about the encore though is the complete lack of snobbery or stuffiness, it is relaxed welcoming luxury. You are made to feel so comfortable no matter what your budget may be. Make sure you see le reve while you stay at the resort, absolutely incredible. We saw 4 fantastic shows throughout our stay including 2 cirques and le reve was by far the best. The spa is expensive but beautiful and well worth a visit. We walked the entirety of the strip (I have the blisters to prove it!) and visited each of the main hotels and I was glad to return to the encore each night. The only negative for those that want to be in the thick of it is that the encore is at the far end of the strip ($15 taxi fare each way into the middle of the strip at night) so bear this in mind if you want to be central. For us it was perfect to be situated slightly out of the madness.

pleased beyond explanation. wynn encore go above and beyond any hotel I've been too in every category. gorgeous hotel, rooms, decor. staff and service are excellent. you can't go wrong here.
this hotel has activities for any age and any types from shopping to spas to gorgeous pools and fitness centers. lareve which is a show will blow you away. i stayed here for march 11 to march 15 i wish i could stay here much longer theres so much to do that i just didn't have the time for. i love to golf and i golfed at four different courses that were in great shape. all four courses were within twenty minutes of driving. encore is perfectly located close to airport and everything on the strip. the beauty of this resort is you don't have to leave the resort for anything if you don't want to they have plenty to do to occupy your time from sun up to sundown.

Room Tip: every room is perfect

We just returned from a 2nd stay at the Encore Hotel & Casino. We love the rooms and the intimate feel of the casino. There is no gamble when you stay at the Encore - it is consistent in quality, service and experience. My only negatives about Encore - the nightclub aftermath. We had to leave around 3:40am (catching our flight to Maui) and the lines of young drunk (obnoxious puking) kids was just disenchanting. I do commend the security at Encore - I would hate to be in their shoes dealing with the drunk, obnoxious and rude patrons of the nightclub. the que for the taxi was incredible - thankfully, going to the bell captain and slipping a $20 got us an Escalade for $60 to the airport for 4 people. No waiting in line for me.

Room Tip: Ask for the room away from the nightclub. the $20 upgrade to the better rooms is a must do.

The ENCORE is most definitely the place to stay. Fiance have been awed by the decorated bathtub, robes, special in-room movie snacks the first night in our king suite. Love the Mandalay Beach pools & the fact they have lifeguards! Thank you, ENCORE, for making this trip a perfect one. CLASSY is the Word ...

I stayed at the Encore for two nights while there for a conference. The rooms are very nice, with a somewhat separate sleeping area. The bathroom was great--nice large vanity area with separate sinks and a TV. There was a makeup mirror and complimentary cotton balls, shoe shine buffer, etc. Separate tub and shower. The bed was very comfortable and there was a good desk for working. It was pretty quiet although I did hear some noise outside my room one night. The property is beautiful as well. As with most Vegas hotels there was a wait to check in.
