I was in this hotel for 6 nights. I enjoyed every day in the Hotel and its restaurants and every night in the clean room. If I come to Vegas again, I definitely stay at the Wynn or Encore. Having all possibilities in house, even rental car. Try one of the fabulous restaurants Wazuzu for Asian of the Country club for excellent steaks. Prices are high in the restaurants but worth the visit.

We came here for my birthday and stayed at the Encore. After reading some of the past reviews, I'm not sure what went wrong for the folks giving this place a bad name.
First, we arrived early in the day and was able to check in with out ant issues. The front desk even upgraded us to a Tower Suite and comped us 2 buffets for my birthday. When we arrived to our room on the 17th floor overlooking the pool, we were very happy with the room they had given us. Yes, it is a bit small for a suite, but it was still very nice. While we were unpacking, we had a knock on our door and we opened it to find the floor manager there making sure everything was good and if we needed anything else.
That night we dined at the Botero, watched Le Reve, and played slots until late into the evening. Upon our return we found that housekeeping had stopped by, remade up the room and left a large glass of chocolate dipped strawberries for us. A very nice surprise.
Now, a lot of folks were saying that the noise of the nightclub was over the top and they couldnt sleep with all the noise. I have to be honest and say that it was barley audible and the sound of the A/C was pretty much all we heard the couple of night we were there.
The following day we pretty much stayed on the resort property for all but a couple hours. That night after dinner we again played some slots and my wife won a nice jackpot off one of the machines. The floor attendant was very helpful and took care of our needs. That same night we checked in with the Red card desk and we were presented with another comp meal at the Society diner.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. Room was clean, bed was comfy, food was good (a bit over priced), Le Reve was enjoyable, staff was great. We would stay here again for sure.

My husband and I stayed at the Encore during a conference he had to attend for work and his company put us up at this hotel. We had a room on a high floor facing the strip and it was a beautiful view. The room was very clean and the housekeeping was fantastic when we needed the room take care of. The food was very good at the restaurants we went to. Wazuzu has great sushi and the Lakeside was a fun experience with the show after dark. Breakfast options were very expensive but that is to be expected in Vegas I suppose. I was not a huge fan of the way the encore was decorated with lots of read and a gothic feel, but to each his own. I liked that the location was a little away from all the action on the strip but it is quite a walk anywhere you go. My favorite thing about the hotel was the workout room. Very clean, great equipment and water, towels and fresh fruit for your workout was nice. Finally, the staff we interacted with was very attentive and friendly.

and if and when I go back, I will stay here again! Top shelf everything, blew my mind and was exactly the Vegas experience I imagined... service was impeccable (you would hope so after they take your money at the blackjack table :)
I was torn between here and the regular Wynn... the Encore is the most updated and newer one and the pool is amazing... highly recommend.

Here for a convention 3/4-3/8 on the 25 floor. Awake all night due to the noise coming up from the nightclub on Monday night until 4am. VERY loud. Called front desk right away they agreed to change room in the morning. We waited ALL day no communication from anyone at the front desk. They moved us to floor 55 Nightclub is open tonite 3/6 so we'll see what happens. No complimentary coffee in the room...geez even the budget hotels do that. Bed has a slight dip in it, not the most comfortable and the bed is made sloppily sheets coming up off the mattress. The pool is closed and no notification until we checked in. The whole reason we stayed here was for the pool. Extremely disappointed!

Room Tip: Ask for the top floors unless you like hearing loud music while u sleep. Don't come when the poo...

We had stayed for 3 nights over President's weekend after having stayed for 3 nights back in Oct 2012. As nice as the resort is, we do not recall the service to be worthy of a 5 star resort, not at the front desk, nor at any of the fine or casual restaurants we have dined at. In fact, we were quite unhappy with the service we have experienced at Sinatra, Botero, Red 8, Terrace Pointe Cafe, Wazuzu, Society Cafe and The Buffet. The wait staff had not bothered to check back on us once our food was brought to our table by the serving staff. The waiters/waitresses simply went through their motions and once they took our orders, their job was done and they disappeared. We have gotten better attention and service from the serving and clean-up staff. It was unjustifiable to be tipping the wait staff, especially after having to wait more than 20 minutes for our food to be served at all the restaurants with the exception of the Buffet. That seemed to be the norm...waiting for the food. We decided only Bartolotta was the only restaurant worth going back to.
We had given the option to pay for an upgrade when we checked in. However, we were given an accessible room. The view was great no doubt but it was frustrating dealing with one of our biggest travel peeves-accessible rooms. Don't get us wrong, we certainly understand resorts have to cater and provide for travellers who are physically challenged. However, as awesome as the views that come with the accessible rooms, they just aren't built for normal folks. We had dealt the awkwardness with multiple handle/safety bars in bathrooms, but a closet with lowered hanging bars was a first for us this time. We are not of goliath proportion but our tops on hangers were dragging on the closet dresser and floor much to our chagrin. Why wouldn't the front desk say something like we can upgrade you to a room on a higher floor with better views but it will be an accessible room, is that acceptable for you? From this and our previous experience with accessible rooms, we decided these type of rooms are the shame of hotels or resorts they don't want you to know.
Because we didn't think that Encore really has set itself apart from its peers like the Wynn, Bellagio, The Hotel, Four Seasons, MO, Cosmopolitan all of which we have stayed at, our review of this resort was based on our experiences at the various restaurants we dined at. Alas the conclusion is we won't be returning.

Room Tip: Thin Walls...not for light sleepers.

The Encore is a very nice hotel. Rooms are very nice and quite spacious. I was able to get a good rate for a mid-week stay. The beds are comfortable. The light controls take a few minutes to figure out, however. My only real complaint was the shower head, which was really pathetic, definitely not up to 5 star quality. It was just a regular type shower head that you would expect to find in a suburban tract home with linoleum floors and a fiberglass tub. Thankfully the rest of the bathroom was wonderful. Our room came with a free buffet, which we used for breakfast. Unfortunately the breakfast buffet was not very good, the eggs benedict was cold as were some of the other hot items. We were glad we hadn't paid full price for it because it was not worth the money. I would definitely book a room at Encore again, however.
