It served its purpose. It was clean enough and quiet enough however make sure you request the upgraded room when booking. Otherwise you get the crusty old one. Lesson learned. On the positive side, the casino that its attached to - Ellis Island has the best steak and eggs on the planet.

We originally agreed to take a smoking room on the first floor facing the adjoining Ellis Island Casino. The room was beat up, with cigarette marks on the bathtub and an ancient AC/Heating device that made a lot of noise. The shower would not drain and the water was above our ankles. We declined to use the tub. The parking lot featured people testing out their percussive pipe motorcycles at 4 in the morning. This was an insanely bad choice for a room and it screwed up our sleep on our vacation.

The third floor non-smoking room was much much better and worth the money. If you do go out for a cigarette you would be well served to avoid the back parking lot as I was accosted by two ladies of the evening who appeared out of black cars while I was standing there. If you can avoid that hassle then the non-smoking third floor rooms are a great deal at Super 8 prices.

The wifi is good, the staff are pleasant. Just watch your room location and where you hang out late at night and you'll be fine.

Room Tip: The third floor non-smoking room was much much better and worth the money. We have stayed at the Super8 at least 5 times and we are going back in May for 2 weeks. The rooms are always clean and tidy, we have never had any problems. The staff are all very helpful and polite, you could not wish for better staff. It is very reasonably priced and the standards for the price certainly do justice to the place. Crystal, James, Robin, Demi, Grace and all the staff thank you for making our holiday so much better with your friendliness and hospitality. See you all in May, can't wait to see you all again

My 11-month old daughter, husband and I stayed here for one night on the Stay and Park deal where we stayed for one night then parked our car while we traveled to the East Coast for 10 days.

Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. Our room was clean, spacious and included a refrigerator, which was a bonus! We had no problems with the shuttle when going to the airport, but we were a little confused as to what to do when we came back. We should have looked into that further, but because we didn't, we ended up waiting about 20-25 minutes at the airport for the shuttle to come pick us up.

We also liked the close proximity to the strip. It's about a 20 minute walk, but we enjoyed being able to go and come back without having to take the car. We would stay here again if we needed a place to park our car while traveling.

Stayed: December 2013
