“Will Definitely Return!”
Reviewed March 8, 2014 via mobile

Joined my husband who was working ConExpo this week. Loved every thing about this hotel! It was very close to the strip, or to the monorail if I needed to go farther down towards NYNY or another casino. The whole hotel is very clean, updated, and well maintained. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The restaurant/room service menu is small but everything was good. I enjoyed staying "off the strip" and look forward to a return trip! I was able to swim in the pool in March. It's small but fit my needs perfectly. Honestly my entire week here, the only negative I could come up with was that the iron on our room needed replacing... And really that is it! Can't wait for Conexpo 2017! :)

We visited Las Vegas on a quick 3 nights trip with my wife to attend a concert of Andrea Bocelli, we booked this property for two reasons: It did not had a casino and was off the strip.

We did a great choice in fact. Both of us do not gamble, and although we enjoy visiting the hotels on the strip, we rather have a more private place without the fuss of the bigger properties, the hotel is nice and is your basic Marriott, but with a twist...this is an all suite hotel!

Since we arrived, the front desk staff was very kind and attentive to our needs. During all our stay they gave us pointers and tips, they doubled up as a Concierge literally.Suites are nicely appointed, beds are outstanding, and again as in every Marriott I had stayed...spotless clean, breakfast buffet has all that you would expect in variety, quantity and quality, it was included on my rate as a Marriott rewards Platinum member, however the price did not seemed outrageous at all should I had to pay for it. On my checkout (At 2am...) I noticed a mistake on the bill, and the gentleman on the front desk, quickly fixed it up.

So if you're looking for the excitement of Las Vegas without the fuss (In your hotel that is..), this property will certainly hit the spot.

Stayed just one night. We should have received extra towels without having to ask housekeeping, and they could have used an upgade - not fluffy at all. Overall service was fine - we forgot our phone charger and the front desk lent us one.

Hotel was very quiet which was really nice after a very loud concert. No ringing bells or stinky cigarette smoke is a welcome change from any of the hotels on the strip.

Agree with other comments about the price of the breakfast. If our points hadn't paid for it and we had to shell out $40 I would have been really upset. Definitely not worth it. Nothing was hot and the sweet roll tasted like it was left over from last week.

Helpful staff, close to a few shops with cheap souvenirs, nice room with a desk and kitchenette, good buffet breakfast. Laundry room was a plus. However, we tried to book a Grand Canyon trip and a car rental through concierge service but both times what they offered was more expensive than the first link on google.

This is a very nice hotel. It is the quality you can always count on from Marriot. It isn't your typical Las Vegas casino/ resort, but it is much more relaxing for the night. You won't be finding anything lavish or over the top here, but certainly nothing bad either. The only complaint I have is the price of breakfast at the restaurant on the main floor. Thankfully, Marriot rewards paid for it, but breakfast prices were very very high. The food was good, but certainly not so good as the prices imply. Service was great as well. The waiter remembered our drink orders and had them ready for us every morning. He also learned our names. The pool is nice, although rather cool since it is unheated. Free parking is very nice as well. Safe place to park your car. As far as a city view, it isn't the best. Circus Circus is right in your line of site, but the mountains are beautiful at sunrise!

As Marriott owners, we treasure the immaculate housekeeping of its properties, and this boutique size hotel proved to be an enjoyable retreat from Vegas gaming. The chef cooks with class and the staff was most attentive. Finally, a small but significant feature for our senior legs was the ability to park and walk straight into the hotel minus the long detour so typical of the strip.

We were able to get a full complement of R&R to return for "action" with our family visitors.

The Las Vegas Marriott is a solid, if unexceptional, 4 star hotel. It looks small and unimpressive, perhaps because it's dwarfed by all the humungous casino hotels nearby. The highlight of the property is definitely the rooms. They're large and well-furnished: 4 star+ quality. Staff is also friendly and helpful.

The location will please some folks, and displease others. It's close to the convention center if that's your objective. It's a non-gaming hotel fairly close to the Strip, but not really within walking distance. If you have a car, the hotel is convenient to everything. You have to decide whether you want to be in a quieter location, or in the "middle of the action." If you want quiet, the Marriott might be a good choice.

Pool area is unexceptional.

Staying in a non-casino hotel in Vegas has its pluses and minuses. Pluses are that it's non-smoking, quieter and easy -- no long walk from the parking garage. Minuses are that it's a bit dull and you don't have the casino to subsidize the amenities. For instance, the buffet breakfast is $20. I got it comped as a Marriott Rewards gold member, but if you had to pay for it, it would be a lousy deal. The Marriott buffet is pretty poor, especially for a 4-star hotel, in both quality and selection. There are so many better breakfasts in town at the various casino hotels that are less than half the price (the Palms and the Orleans are both exceptionally cheap and good).

Indeed, without elite status in their loyalty program, you're probably better off at one of the nearby Marriott properties (like I think I saw a Springhill Suites) that would comp you the breakfast and give you a slightly larger room.

Bottromline is that, for most guests, I think there are probably better value accommodations in Vegas but if you wind up at the Marriott, you will be comfortable.
