After reading a few reviews on Trip Advisor before we traveled, we were a bit unsure what to expect. However, we were pleasantly surprised. Our room was in the East Wing, not the pyramid itself, and we found the room to be big, very clean, and welcoming. The room had good air con, a king sized bed and television. The bathroom is large and modern. The only down side to the room was the lack of WiFi. It's the 21st century and most people would expect internet access in the rooms of a 4 star hotel.
The Titanic exhibition was great and I would recommend this to anyone. Do not pay full price for this though as you can get $5 off vouchers everywhere or buy tickets from a street vendor for $25ish.
The pool is great and we never struggled to find beds. However, the poolside bar is extortionately overpriced - $9 for a 1 litre bottle of water! Also, we were a bit disappointed to find out that you have to pay for access to an exclusive section if you want to enjoy the pool parties.More
