Recently stayed at the Luxor, I must say it is a nice hotel at a great price, rooms clean and nice size. Nice casino and attached to 3 different hotels without going outside. If your looking for a good value try the Luxor

i have stayed here twice and have found it a decent hotel on the strip without busting your wallet. Plus it is connected to its neighboring hotels, Mandalay and Excalibur, which is nice for more options for places to eat/attractions/bars. Also if it is freaky hot or cold you do not have to go outside to visit the other hotels, or you have take the monorail between the hotels. This last trip in January we stayed in the pyramid, so we got to used there cool but slightly scary escalators which go up on an angle. The rooms are decent. I would stay there again.

The image of the Luxor is still interesting and illicits a bit of wow. But it is getting old and should probably get a face lift. The rooms are dated and the overall feel is getting a little tired. Service at check in was good, and the Concierge was excellent. The Business Center was poor though as we got a "nod" that they would be right with us and then made us stand there for a half hour only to advise that they were closed. The glass on the pyramid is permanently dirty and any possible "view" is obscured as a result. The beds were good and the bathrooms in decent shape. The housekeeping services were also good. The fact that they still use USB cables in the rooms instead of wifi also seems a bit dated in todays terms.

Stayed at the Luxor for 4 night recently. Overall a very good experience. Really good size room with large lcd tv, king bed and plenty of storage space. Large well appointed bathroom with shower and bath. I was in the east wing which was a little bit of a walk from the main part of the casino but it was away from all the party people. Room cleaned daily and everything within easy reach of the casino. Free car parking, nice swimming pool and also the Luxor has several good attractions. Linked to several other casinos and easy to access all of the stripe. Plenty of options for eating in the casino or on the strip. Staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing seems to be a problem! All in all a very pleasant stay and will look at staying again should the need arise. Enjoyed the buffet dinner, good value and even better if you buy the all day pass for the 3 meals.

It's Hot & not in a good way. Just stayed in the pyramid this weekend to attend a trade show. Due to the solid glass wall facing the sun, the room never cooled off to an acceptable level. Not sure what the problem was or if this is normal. Other than the temperature, the room was ok & location has easy access to the Mandalay Convention Area.

This hotel is like wonderland action around the clock, however that does not suit everyone. No tea or coffee making facilities in rooms which is a shame for the cuppa in the morning. No worries about not being able to sleep, just pop downstairs and you will find something to do day and night.

Room Tip: Try to have rooms close to lift or stairways, the hotel is so big its easy to get lost.
