The saying "you get what you pay for" applies, in a good way, in this case. I got a vintage room which is over the casino and happens to be the least expensive rooms. There is no elevator to these rooms - need to walk your luggage up/down the stairs. There was a little bit of an odor, most likely smokey smell from the casino below. The room was comfortable and clean enough. Small, but functional bathroom. Loved the way the bedspreads where eliminated and sheets where used on the bed covers - made it feel much cleaner. Only problem was, the first night there were lots of loud conversations and slamming doors nearby, but the other nights were fine. For the price I paid, I couldn't complain. After all, when your in Vegas, how much time do you spend in the room anyway?
If you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay close to Fremont street and that old vintage Vegas feel, this is the place. I will definitely use this place again.More
