We had a terribly disappointing experience with Grand tours ,their only priority seems to be to get you to the canyon & back at the fastest without any time to see the place or do any activity..the driver we had was surly, unfriendly & intimidating, I had also mailed the Grand tours giving details about how the annoying & unpleasant experience we had but have got neither an apology nor a response. My simple & sincere advice is, walk if you must but DO NOT take this tour.

We took a 1 day tour to the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon. At the Grand Canyon the bus broke down and the passengers had either to wait in a cold bus for 6 hours until the replacement bus arrived, or to hitch a ride on other company's bus (for 20$ each). We opted for the second options. Those who didn't want to pay got back to the hotel at 4:30 in the morning. When we contacted the owner, Jerry, in order to at least recoup the money we paid to return on other company's bus, he flatly refused. He told us we should have waited for the replacement bus. He also told us, that since in his business he never sees any returning customers, he does not care much for his reputation.

Later I also discovered, that this company has an F rating at BBB of Southern Nevada:

Definitely not recommended!

We stayed at the Flamingo in Vegas and 2 days before we arrived, I booked this tour on a whim on the internet. Our hotel concierge desk only offered day tours of the Canyon that were $200+. We wanted $100 or less, and I took a chance and found it! I called 2 days in advance to give my CC# over the phone to hold our places. I was given a confirmation number and told to call and confirm when we landed in Vegas. The shuttle picked us up at 7am, outside our hotel, as promised, and we picked up a few others and drove to meet the coach at another lot. The price was only $77 each if you paid the driver in cash that day.
Our breakfast (included in the trip) was a bottle of OJ, a banana, and a "Big Texas" cinnamon roll. Not bad. Our driver Rod was a real firecracker. This guy was hilarious, had a ton of energy, and ended every statement with a celebratory "Sweeeet!" He talked about the history of Vegas and other things as we reached the Hoover Dam. I didn't think it was that impressive, but he gave us plenty of facts and a photo stop. We continued on and arrived 4+hrs later at the Canyon. We also had a rest stop 2hrs into it. They played a movie on the way there (Paul Blart Mall Cop) and also an educational Grand Canyon video. Upon arrival, right at 12:15pm, we were given lunch- turkey and cheese sandwich, an apple, bag of chips, bag of cookies, and a bottled water. Pretty good and convenient. We were given a map, and tips and told to meet back at the bus in 3 hrs. It was a great amount of time to explore the Canyon rim and take tons of pictures. We went on a Friday in October, so our bus was only half full, and the Canyon wasn't too crowded either. There were plenty of crazy non-English speaking tourists taking crazy pictures of the edges of the cliffs, etc. After the 3hrs, we went back in the bus and headed back to Vegas. There were 2 movies on the way back (The Bucket List and Wild Hogs), and another rest stop, where we grabbed dinner at a nearby Wendy's. We were back on the Strip by 8:30pm... but by the time everyone was dropped at ther hotel, the jammed up Vegas traffic took an extra hour. All in all it was a great trip for the cost, a beautiful day, and a comfortable ride. I highly recommend it and have great memories!

Took the Dam tour didn't spend enough time there. By the time you watch the film and take the tour you have to rush if your lucky to get pictures at the Dam. We didn't take the tour with lunch and were told ther was shops there, didn't have time with the schedule.Glad that we didn't take our elder parents not enough time alotted at all. Would not reccommend unless you could spend two hours at Dam. Our driver "Dana" needed a handsfree microphone because he used hand gestures alot while talking.Needless to say hands weren't always on wheel.

We chose this company because you would not have to go to the bus terminal with all the other bus companies to meet up with the other people taking the tour from other hotels. We were taken to the Tropicana meet point and after about 45 minutes, we were on our way versus two hours with the other companies. Be sure and say whether you will be paying cash or credit card and if credit card, they run your credit card slip in advance and it is brought to the bus meet point. Our bus driver, Walter, was very good and knowledgeable. He explained everything we needed to do at each stop and if you followed his directions, there was no problem. If not, you could get left!! We were back to our hotel by 9:30 which was very good, also. Some of the other companies promised 11:30. This was a very good tour company - the bus was brand new and very nice.
