If you are looking for a refreshing break from the heat of the strip I would recommend the Shark Reef! The tanks are beautiful and full of interesting and unusual sea creatures! And the tunnel is amazing !

Interesting experience at Mandalay Bay. Walk by dozens of sea life exhibits, including sea turtles, tropical fish, rays, and jellyfish, brilliantly displayed. The highlight is the chance to walk "through" the aquarium with sharks and other creatures appearing to swim in the arch above, giving a clear 360 degree view of many kinds of marine life. Wonderful respite from the glitz that is ubiquitous in Las Vegas.

We are animal lovers and often boycott animal shows due to cruelty issues (no, the dolphins don't like to jump onto concrete, eat dead fish and be kept in captivity) but this place is involved in conserving wildlife and provides good education. The Komodo Dragon breeding program is a worthy cause. Apart from that, it's a beautiful aquarium with good information. It can be done in about 45 minutes but we spent closer to 2 hours to allow time to watch the sharks and fish and read the info. It's a hard surface so bring comfy shoes

This was a small aquarium with nothing that different to my local zoo at home. Nice enough, just not that exciting.
