Owner description: Millions and millions of people have flocked through the doors of Madame Tussauds since they first opened over 200 years ago and it remains just as popular as it ever was. There are many reasons for this enduring success, but at the heart of it all is good, old-fashioned curiosity. Today's visitors are sent on a unique, emotionally-charged journey through the realms of the powerful and famous. The museum-style ropes and poles have gone so guests can truly get up, close and personal with A-list celebrities, sporting legends, political heavyweights and historical icons, reliving the times, events and moments that made the world talk about them....

“Not what it used to be”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 21, 2013

I've visited this wax museum 3x's- in 2004, 2007, and in 2008...those visits were so much better. It seems as if they shortened the "tour" there are a lot less exhibits and there used to be more things to see. hopefully they are just going through a renovation process...but I was really disappointed

“Great but short!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 20, 2013

The wax museum was great! We had a coupon for $10 off each ticket which was even better. Once inside, we were amazed at the life-like figures. It was really hard to tell that they weren't real. I did wish is was a little longer. They told us it would take an hour or so to walk through and it was way shorter than that.

“Photobomb celebrities with impunity”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 20, 2013

When I entered I wondered where all the displays were, then realized half the people milling around WERE the displays. They are incredibly lifelike; I half expected Cameron Diaz to snap her head up and yell “Boo!” as I took a close-up photo.

Rooms are dedicated to A-list celebs, sports heroes, musicians, Vegas legends and politicians. Most are very good, and some have extra functions; grab J-Lo’s famous asset and she blushes (another step forward for feminism); shake Elvis’s hand and he mutters “Than’ you very much.”

I always regretted not seeing Madame Tussaud’s when I was in London because I thought it was too expensive. At $28 the Las Vegas branch is costly, but I found it was worth it just for the novelty value.

“Very expensive!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2013 via mobile

Booked our tickets online through vegas.com and expected it to take longer than 15 minutes to complete. Wax figures looked very real but for the price I expected a larger attraction. We were staying at the luxor so it was a 20$ cab ride just to get there. Overall not worth the money.

“Fun but short”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2013

This was fun seeing that you could take pictures of the figures. They are positioned in such a way that you have a fun photo opt. Try to use a buy one get one.....it is pricey at 30.00 for a short experience. It is nice inside.....
