“great pool veiw”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

food was good, if a bit pricey, the walk way over from the palm casino was a bit frightening to my dining companion, she would not recomend it for anyone alone

“Rude service”
Reviewed August 12, 2013 via mobile

Had dinner with friends. Waitress was condescending & purposely "up sold" sides without sharing the additional cost. The food was Fair but given all the choices I would not recommend this location

Have eaten there twice once for lunch and once for dinner, Lovely setting I was more impressed with lunch and food flavors than dinner.

“Nice, relaxing lunch”
Reviewed August 1, 2013

We're staying at the Palms Place, so having dinner at Simon is a no brainer, in particular given that you can get a $25 gift certificate at restaurant.com for very little. The food was good, the ambiance was relaxing (all that light from the wall to wall windows works its magic towards lunch time), and the service was top-notch.

The menu is pretty short, emphasizing sushi for lunch, but also including some salads, pizzas and sandwiches. My husband and oldest daughter had the California rolls. My daughter's was the regular one ($12) and she liked it, but felt they had too much rice. My husband had a baked one ($15), which came with some salmon and sauce, and he was much more pleased. Neither was a large portion, but they weren't expecting them to be.

My youngest and I had the pizzas. Her Margherita ($12) was OK, though the basil could have been fresher (or less cooked), but my smoked chicken one ($14) was absolutely delicious. It had a great tangy flavor from the goat cheese that worked itself well against the bitterness of the arugula, the smokiness of the chicken and the sweetness of the walnuts. I'd highly recommend it.

The zucchini bread served with lunch was also a winner.

I might have given the place one less star if I didn't have the restaurant.com coupon (even with it, and despite the fact that we didn't order drinks or anything else, lunch came to $40 after tax and tip), but with it, it's really a no brainer for lunch if you're staying nearby.

“Average”
Reviewed July 23, 2013

The waitress was very friendly, gave great service. We ordered the sushi sampler and it was ok. Also ordered the yellowtail roll which is topped with a slice of heirloom tomato and jalapeno, this was good. Also ordered the crabcake appetizer, this was yummy as was the slaw that came with it. Overall... average food.
