From the hectic casino floor to this relatively quiet upscale steak house is a dramatic contrast. Pretty restaurant with a nice menu. Wines slightly overpriced. Food very good overall; I had the lamb, which was excellent. Probably would have given higher rating, but for the stiff competition in high end restaurants in Las Vegas.

We purchased the travel zoo voucher for this restaurant. Yes it is expensive, but worth it. The service was superb and food excellent! My husband and I both ordered different meals so we could try as much as we could. We loved it all. Had the beef appetizer, lobster bisque, duck, seabass, creme brule, and chocolate souffle. We were celebrating our anniversary and also received chocolate truffles. They melted in our mouths!

Bellow you will read a sincere critic of a French guy that love la Grande Cuisine.

What I want to say after this diner at Andre’s is “Almost”. We were not too far to have a perfect diner for Christmas, but when you go to this expansive restaurant, you don’t want “Almost”, you want the perfection!

We choose the Chef’s Tasting Menu at $125

First of all La mise en bouche was a real disaster. La mise en bouche means “And the show will start” you have to have all the technics and delicacy of the Chef. This is not peanuts that you will eat with a beer. That was just ordinary. Asparagus soup was served so cold, that would be as eating an ice cube next to a crispy ball…failure

Then the beef Carpaccio was good, but adding lemon aioli on it, was not delicate or fin. That was a bit disgusting, but this is maybe only personal.

PAN SEARED DUCK FOIE GRAS and SEARED JUMBO SEA SCALLOPS was very well executed. Here we are… No surprise, but very good, and perfectly done.

We wanted to get the PAN SEARED DUCK BREAST, that was not available… ???? Instead we were asked to take the Entrecote… We finally took the BUTTERNUT SQUASH RISOTTO. That was something pretty new for us, nothing exciting about it, but not bad neither.

A good point, was the wine pairing, that was not very expansive wine, but good wine, and the pairing was perfect.

Regarding the service, I guess this is maybe a cultural difference. But we don’t take my plate if my wife has not finished her own.
I have just finished, the second after someone take my plate… give me a minute. Not the same number of forks and knives, and we take the same menu.

So we are almost at a good restaurant…But this one does not deserved a Michelin Star in the current situation.

Initially, we had concerns. The restaurant is tucked in a dark corner just off the casino floor and obscured by an Asian restaurant. You would never find it without looking for it.
Long story short. Our server had no problem with our Groupon, service was exceptional, and the multi-coursed dinner was outstanding. My steak was perfect medium rare and my wife's fish was moist, tender, and with a touch of crisp on top. The accoutrements were carefully prepared and presented with flair and reserved attention.
It's might be pricey for some without a Groupon. but we would gladly return without one.

Over the years Andre's has become our favorite restaurant. The staff greets you as an old friend and the food along with its presentation is amazing. The Lobster Thermidor is better than anything we found in Maine. The lamb is the most tender you will ever eat. Every detail of our experience was taken care of by Lori and her staff in an attentive, courteous and professional manner. It is worth a trip to this small intimate location hidden inside Monte Carlo. And don't forget their wonderful desserts!!
