there are a lot of plastic, painted animals. Children can not be fooled. Living near NYC where we have the natural history museum here, this one in las vegas was a big disappointment. Nothing was real. If you go to Nevade State Museum & Historical Society, you will see some animals and other natural history items.

My husband loves Las Vegas, but traveling with our preschooler made hanging out in the casinos difficult. I took the car and we drove to the Las Vegas Natural History Museum. WOW!! You've got to see the dinosaur exhibit. Some of the dinosaurs are mechanical and they make sounds, too. Kids can dig for dino-bones down the hall. Great way to keep the kids busy and make Vegas an educational experience.
