“Hidden Oasis”
Reviewed April 11, 2014

Hidden outside town is a wonderfully quiet and beautiful oasis. Red Rock Canyon is peaceful since very few people visit the place. The roads are fun to drive and the lake is tranquil. We have also ridden horses and driven exotic cars in the areas. It's a nice escape from the madness of the Vegas Strip.

“National Park is far better than you would expect so close to Vegas”
Reviewed April 11, 2014

I try to visit Red Rock every time I go to Vegas, which is about once a year for past 20+ years. This is a much under-used National Park. The 17 mile drive has some great views and lots of walking options. You can be walking through fantastic, remote scenery within an hour of leaving the Vegas strip. It's a great place to unwind in the evening and watch the sun go down.

“Beautiful, Rugged and Not To Be Missed”
Reviewed April 10, 2014

The $10 Day Fee is a bargain! The view of these fantastic red rock formations is an eye opener if you've never had the opportunity to see wind formed rocks. There is camping allowed in the area and a very interesting Park Office.
It's quite a drive into the area but don't be disillusioned. It is well worth it!

“Natural Beauty”

We were in Vegas for a wedding and were not able to find the time to go out to the Grand Canyon. Red Rock was a close and great alternative. Beautiful vista and great hiking trails.

Amazing views and very close to the strip. Nice leisurely canyon drive with breathtaking views of the rock formations. Great change of pace from the strip.
