“Stunning Scenery”
Reviewed March 4, 2013

The Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is only 20 miles from Las Vegas but you feel like you're in another world. The scenery is stunning. There are numerous hiking trails and a wonderful 13 mile scenic drive. Not to be missed.

“Second visit”
Reviewed March 3, 2013

Did not really discover this place til last year but will go there every time I am in the area. Take a walk thru the educational area in back of the visiter's center and orient yourself to what you are seeing and learning. Take even a small hike if you can. Do not hurry no matter who is pushing.

“Great Western Experience”
Reviewed March 3, 2013

This gives you a real experience, during the summer months, of what the early travelers to Nevada put up with. Still starkiy beautiful. Take liquids and sun protection cover for your outside time. It is a chance to see the real Nevada, not Vegas fantasy.

“Peaceful”
Reviewed March 2, 2013

We're not hikers or rock climbers, there were many here though, but we truly enjoyed the views of each point throughout the 13 miles scenic drive.. It seems so peaceful and serene, considering just 40 minutes or so ago we were on the Strip. No food or water available.
