This is my second trip to Red Rock Canyon and going in February the air was crisp and the mountains were stunning. The scenic route drive has several stopping points around the 13 mile drive to view the red rock formations and take pictures. Several people enjoyed the hiking and climbing. People think of Las Vegas as an entertainment center but get out of town and enjoy the scenic drive. The National Park charges an entry fee unless you are a senior and have a pass which is well worth the nominal cost. The visitors center has a gift shop and restroom facilities.
