We walked both during the day and at night. During the day, the casinos are busy and close together (unlike the Strip). At night, the street is crowded with tourists and street performers (some of whom walk the line between R and X rated). Overhead, there is a light show on the canopy and people flying by on zip lines. It is pure craziness.

Kudos to Downtown Vegas and Fremont! Very impressed with the changes and improvements to the Fremont Experience and adjacent area. Great to new and renovated hotels and Casinos! Love the free entertainment. Want a break from the Strip, perfect place to go. Save money on food and beverages. Enjoy the added features in Fremont East and Container Park.

Had a fun evening strolling throuogh the chaos at Fremont Street. A local friend took me otherwise I might have been abducted by aliens. Live rock bands, lots of food to eat, bars, zip lines screaming overhead in a multi block walk-only area in habited by street vendors selling junk and high end stuff, plus lots of truly weird characters in costumer willing to pose for a photo with you if you will pay them. Strangest sight: two men in diapers, otherwise saggy flesh and naked, begging for photos. Where would any sane person post those photos???? Typical Vegas over-anxiety but entertaining. Recommendation. Take a cab to avoid parking issues and don't bring a lot of cash. Whatever you bring, you'll leave there.

We visited the Fremont Street Experience on a recent trip to Vegas. Was fun to visit downtown Las Vegas to see a time gone by in old Vegas with the vintage casinos and things to do. Also enjoyed the live music! It’s worth seeing when you’re in town!

Visited on a Saturday night. Very crowded. Many young people dressed inappropriately, Not a place to bring children.
