This has truly gone downhill. I built this up as a not-to-miss event while in Vegas, but it has gone totally to crap. It was nothing but a stupid concert, showings Doors, Jon Bon Jovi, and other videos, completely not utilizing the full effect of this amazing laser show.

Instead, onlookers where shown a 3 video segment from a rock group (same crap i can watch on tv or you tube) in which the same grainy, old image was repeated on this long screen...making it a complete sell-out from the actual fun shows (they used to do) in which jets raced across the screen, or Nascar race occurred from one end of the screen to the other.

Not sure who the heck decided to turn this once amazing event into a grainy old video, but it was, for me, an EPIC FAIL!! Why bother doing this laser show on a super long screen, if you are NOT going to fully utilize it?? Total let down...

Freemont is old Vegas. Very cool time. Lots of bars and things to see. My only complaint is all the street performers hitting you up for money just for taking a picture with them.

was very impressed that fremont has been cleaned up. used to live in vegas back in the late 80's and fremont has always been rough. they have really cleaned up the streets down there and the light show is an added bonus.

The atmosphere at Fremont is awesome! Street performers all over the place. So many lights to see. I loved the ceiling images and lights! Many old school casinos up here as well. I got a necklace made with a piece of engraved rice in it. Totally worth every dollar, it's awesome! Make the trip downtown one night, you won't regret it!

This is an excellent night out whilst in Vegas, plenty of live music and of course the casino's, it is situated in the heart of downtown, getting there is very easy, if staying on the strip a bus will take you right to freemont street, they stop running about midnight so plenty of time. The electric light show is fabulous, its themed to music so is different every year we have been.
