I wasn't sure what to expect but it was pretty cool. Didn't stay too long but did enjoy walking through and seeing everything. Going again this July and definitely going to visit again. Many impersonators.

After 4 crowded, uncomfortable nights on the Strip, we finally found Fremont Street. The vintage signs, hotels and casinos were so cool. It was nice to be able to walk around, and not get "pushed around" the street. We were able to stroll under the lighted canopy, enjoy cocktails on an outside patio watching a free band, visit the Golden Nugget, Binions...and just relax together. There were several celebrity impersonators (Jack Nicholson, Michael Jackson, Dolly Parton), a saxophone player, inexpensive places to eat and drink. We will never go back to the strip.

It's such a freaky neighborhood. So packed with people and not the good kind. Not a good place for kids at all.

We took the bus from the strip to Freemont Street. Although we saw some scary characters on the bus, we felt perfectly safe once we arrived. The street is covered by a huge t.v. screen which puts on a different 6 min show on the hour from 8-11pm. The street is crowded, chaotic and loud. There was a heavy metal band playing at one end and a rapper at the other. Lots of intoxicated people related to cheap drink prices. A couple of buskers were entertaining to watch as well as many "characters"; our favourite was the dancing man wearing a bikini!

Personally, I wouldn't return but was glad I experienced it. It is a great venue for people who want to drink, people-watch and party. Not appropriate for children!

I really enjoyed the band and of course the light show was spectacular! Zip Line looked fun but I didn't try it. The line for it was really long so it must be a "hot spot." Parking make access easy...I would definately go there again!
