“Third visit and still my favorite in Vegas”
Reviewed January 6, 2014

My husband, myself and our two teens spent Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and the day after Christmas at this wonderful hotel and we couldn't have been happier. They now offer rooms with two queen beds and it was much for convenient and comfortable for the kids than having to just share the pull-out in the sofa.
Our flight arrived late on Christmas Eve, so it was wondeful to be able to relax in our room and take advantage of the delicious 24 hour room service selections whle enjoying a classic Christmas movie with the kids.
Room was in prestine condition and immaculate. Service was top notch and welcoming.
I have read other reviews complaining about the location. Across the street from a shopping mall? We love that - what could be nicer for a family? It was perfect. Furthermore, after 3 visits to this hotel on various floors and sides of the building I can honestly say any distance noise from a train we may have heard has never once been an issue.
Still my favorite hotel in Las Vegas...I feel spoiled when we stay there. I would absolutely return and recommend to others.

My husband and I stayed at the Trump over Christmas and New Year and had a wonderful time.

Rooms were perfect. We had a city view, which still showed some of the strip ie Circus Circus, The Stratosphere etc. The train noises are loud & can occur through the night, however I don't think Trump Tower would be the only hotel to suffer this & it's not so loud as to wake you up ( unless you are a super light sleeper). The jacuzzi bath & soft plush bed were fantastic for recuperation after a long day & night on the strip. Housekeeping were great. All staff were fantastic and swift about anything we asked for. The food was a bit too expensive for what it was, especially room service once they add on the separate charges.

The smell of the hotel was fantastic and even though pets are allowed you would never know it. It was refreshing to be in a hotel that was non smoking.

The resort fee covers papers, wifi,Starbucks coffee in your room every morning, water, shuttle service etc. I felt this was value for money comparing to what you get in other resorts.

Shuttle drivers were very informative and friendly. Shuttle service was consistant and frequent. One thing I hugely disagree with on the other reviews is the distance from the strip. It is literally a 30 seconds walk to the Wynn or you can go through the mall and your almost at Treasure Island. The distance was no issue whatsoever, especially when you consider that in most hotels it takes the guests 30 minutes just to get from their rooms( through casinos, busy shops, restaurants, packed lobby's)to the front entrance of their hotel.

As we were there over New Year they put on a complimentary party with free champagne toast at midnight and $10 each for access to the snacks and a DJ on the pool deck to give a great view of the fireworks.

Overall we loved Las Vegas and we especially loved the Trump for providing the luxury we needed after days and nights on the strip which is full of people, noise, smoke, alcohol, lights etc. Our room was fantastic & we were made to feel very welcome & everything from check in to check out was so smooth! I would recommend the Trump to everyone & we will be back!!

We upgraded our suite to the 1 bedroom and it was awesome. Had its on kitchen, living room, 1 regular bathroom and a huge bathroom attached to bedroom. Jacuzzi tub was a treat. Everyone at the hotel was extremely friendly and very professional. We didn't eat at the DJT but the several times we ordered room service it was delicious. The pool is nice, the weather wasn't too hot when we were there so we didn't spend much time at the pool. The gym was decent for a hotel. The fashion show mall is right across the street which is handy, its located off the strip but there is a courtesy shuttle that runs to the wynn and caesars palace. The hotel also has drivers who can drive you to where you need to go for a gratuity (came in handy so many times! you get to ride in a luxurious escalade also). Overall I was very impressed.

We booked to stay at Trump international because of the strip view room and were not disappointed. The view down the strip is amazing and being right next to the fashion show mall is a bonus. Not far from downtown Vegas either. A brilliant stay, excellent room and good customer service.

Some of the items on the bathroom counter were dusty. We were travelling with my in-laws and booked a separate room for them. The dishes in both kitchens were not the same. In one kitchen, there were more dishes than the other. They also have very limited kitchen utensils. One kitchen lacked any dish detergent and after speaking with house keeping, they didn't bring anything to the second room. Their TV's don't work well and very slow to respond to the remote control commands. Their couches were not clean as it had dirt on them. We will definitely NOT be coming back to the stay at the Trump Tower!

My wife and I go to Vegas at least twice a year to see Mayweather fight. However, we always get a room on the strip. I was a bit scared when I booked this room via Hotwire. This was my best booking ever!!! The hotel was better than any hotel on the strip that we have stayed in. The staff was also great!!! Karen at the front desk is the best!!! She made a huge error on my part look like a mole hill!!! Overall I was pleased with this hotel!!!

The main feature of this hotel is its lack of a casino, making it a much more relaxed and quiet option. While it is technically located on the strip, it sets back off of the main road, making it hard if you prefer to walk to places. The rooms are nice and have a big wall-length window, however the view is not that great since the mall is right across from the hotel (which could be a good thing if you want to shop there). I really liked the bathrooms, as odd as that sounds. It had a big jet tub, a rock tiled shower, and a TV inside of the mirror. The outdoor pool was nothing special. The service was excellent and very friendly. This is not the hotel if you are going with friends for a wild weekend in Vegas, but this is a family friendly hotel, or a more relaxing option for business travel or couples. Check out my blog, goinglost.com, for more detailed info on this hotel and Vegas in general.
