“Trump International Las Vegas”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 27, 2013

The big attraction for me was the lack of a casino. It's one of the few big Vegas hotels which offers an escape from the mayhem that is Vegas. You are a guest, not just another punter.
Although just off the strip, it's located close to a large mall which offers everything from high end shopping to day to day stuff.
The rooms are mini apartments so it's easy to make breakfast etc. and the bathroom is superb
Choose a room high up overlooking the strip for great sunrises and night time views.
The reception desks are very helpful for car hire and the like and of course, there is the free hotel shuttle which will run you into the centre of the action. All staff seemed genuinely helpful and friendly.
Yes, the bar and breakfast is pricey but there are plenty of options!
I've stayed at other Vegas hotels for less than half the price but it'll be the Trump for me next time.

This is put simply an excellent hotel. The rooms are of a quality you rarely come across they are spacious and well appointed. Value for money is excellent for the service, room size and facilities.
There is a regular shuttle to many stops on the main strip its fairly reliable and regular. You could of course use your legs and simply walk the five minutes but heck this is America get the shuttle!
A bonus is that it does NOT have a casino and its non smoking in all areas!
The staff are well versed in all things around the hotel and the strip. As the boys on the front desk to find you anything and they will know how or who to get it from from restaurants to casinos to strip clubs they know the area.
My only dissappointment was the restaurant let us down on a couple of occasions slow on delivery and food was not to the standard of the rest of the hotel.
Would I go back - in a heart beat.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the strip - the veiw from the top floors are breathtaking Popular stops of th...

Booked this hotel as my partner didn't want all the gambling and smoke associated with the usual strip hotels. Good choice, the service was excellent, the room amazing and I paid a little extra for the strip view and it's a great view indeed: You look straight down along the strip, probably better than being on the strip. Plus, they have shuttles to Caesars Palace and others to get on the strip quickly. Or you are right across the street from Nordstrom's and the huge Fashion Mall there.

The room was awesome, very well equipped with sink, cook-top burners, kettle, coffee maker, microwave and fridge. And no problems getting some cutlery up to our room for our quick breakfasts as we travelled around the area more than hung out on the strip. This was my second trip to Vegas and I'll use the Trump again for sure.

Room Tip: We lucked out on the 57th floor for a view, but I understand all the rooms are the same, which is to...

If you are looking for just a typical no frills hotel that you can book literally anywhere then this is the place for you. The room was nice, but there is no shopping or casino onsite and the food was ok at best and way over priced. We felt looked down on cause our stay was booked through the Hilton. By the third day I called to see why our bed hadn't been made or towels refreshed. I was told it was because we in part did no book for a minimum of 5 nights and the booking was made the Hilton. My wife and I won't stay there again. It's a nice, but over priced for what you get. Most guests were senior citizens and we are far from that life chapter.
Stay somewhere else of you want
Vegas fun!

This place is great value for money. It's a five star room with five star service and ambience but we paid four, or even three star ,prices. The only down side is that it is off the strip. Trump runs a shuttle service to Caesars and Wynn but I do wish it ran a little later than 12pm, as the time limit can often be restrictive. That said, it was the second trip there for my husband and I and we would find it very difficult to stay anywhere else in Vegas now...we've been spoilt for other hotels!!

Ps- the bed is the best we gave ever slept on. Looking to buy the trump mattress now!

This hotel is for people who want to stay in a classy, luxury, well maintained hotel. It's conveniently located close to the strip.
The staff is courteous, well trained and very helpful.
The hotel does not have neither a casino, nor fancy restaurants which is a plus for those who appreciate quietness and relaxation, because the only people you interact with is the other guests, unlike most of the hotels in the strip in which hordes of people flood the common areas causing chaos, noise and uneasiness. I will come back to this hotel for sure.

My wife and I have been to Las Vegas many times over our 60+ years so our experiences and interests are undoubtedly different from many visitors. This trip was a quick one to see our football team play in the Las Vegas Bowl. Up (from Los Angeles area) on Friday and back on Sunday. The hotel had a really good price for this pre-Christmas weekend so we gave it a try. We're really glad we did, too.

The room on the 55th floor had a wonderful view. it was quite large and included an oversized shower and whirlpool tub. Everything was spotless and in perfect condition. The service was very professional and friendly. Donald Trump would be pleased.

The location was interesting. It was a half block off the Strip across from the Wynn and Encore. But we appreciated that it was directly across a quiet street from the Fashion Mall. One night we walked down to the Strip to check out the casinos (we aren't big gamblers) and ended our stroll having some nachos at Señor Frog's. The next night, we went back to the hotel from our mid-day football game and hit the mall for mall food.

Having been there so many times, we drove from our home in Los Angeles county and we've found it very helpful to get out of town at the crack of dawn on Sunday.

This review may not be helpful for most people who go to Vegas to party and gamble late into the wee hours (as we've done many times in the past), but that wasn't our goal this time. We had too many family obligations to make a real extravagant weekend out of it.

Room Tip: We opted for a high floor (55) and found the elevator very fast.
